It was 8:55. We waited in the lobby for the last 5 minutes. I had to put clothes in the car and my bags. I ran back into the building trying to pass time, but not miss his arrival. Blake was on the phone with mom, he was saying "No he isnt here yet honey. Its not 9 yet. I know I know honey we are all excited. I'll call you after. okay. love you too. bye." The elevator door buzzed saying that somoen was coming down form level 400. Masons floor. I was jumping with joy. My brother was in that elevator right now.
*Mason's P.o.v.*
The elevator ride seemed to take forever. My backpack seemed weightless, for once it felt like nothing. Jen kept looking at me asking the same questions, like. "Are you sure you want to go? Are you excited? DId you bring everything? Are you okay Mason?" i couldn't wait to get away from her and her annnoying questions. My phone buzzed in my pocket.
"From John:
Good Luck bro, I'll miss you."
I smiled and typed. 'Won't forget you. Never, ever. Love you bro.'
'MESSAGE SENT' my cracked screen wrote in dim grey letters.
