A/N: The original plan of this fanfiction was really a Levi x OC! of mine but I consider this a little thanks to all Levi x Reader writers who gave me opportunity to deepen my love to Levi   HAHAHAHA.

Every drop of rain leaves stinging pain as it falls one by one on your body while your horse randomly gallops to escape you from the terrible experience you had inside the palace. You can't remember what really happened and now riding your horse face down, lost in thoughts, as your grip still tight on hold for you to not fall and both your legs on one side of it, due to the exhaustion in your body physically and mentally. The last time you had your thoughts was just to escape from the cruelty happening inside the palace and rode your horse to no end. Being lucky became a part of you that you are quite happy about it cause after you escaped and pretended to be a merchant to escape outside the palace's security, no one recognized and suspects you until it reaches a pile of soldiers outside the innermost wall. Unable to distinguish where you are for it is your first time going out of wall sina, your body fell sideways out of your horse and your head bumped on the ground at the time you loose your grip and balance while trying to get out of it. Your body rolled into the mud as a red like ruby fluid poured out of your temples ever so slowly as your body faced the crying skies. Your mentality panicked for a second as they will be able to recognize who you are but fail to react due to the lack of energy your body has and you suddenly lost your conscious. The pile of soldiers suddenly ran to your side to give assistance as one of them with a blonde hair and furry eyebrows gave you a lift and hurried you back to their headquarters.

      

      A chilly breeze with a small peck of droplets entered the slightly opened window as it woke you up. You immediately threw your eyes opened while groaning in pain from your head as you touched it with your palms and felt a bandage rolled on it. You tried to sit up ever so slowly for you to not cause any more ache in your body. Trying to pick up the pieces in your mind to why are you here, lying and well-groomed. You scanned the whole area and conclude that you are in a clinic, wondering how. The door opened and a blonde man greeted you “Good morning, Princess [name]." as he bowed slightly to your front. You gasp for the moment and your (e/c) optics grew wider as he said 'Princess' for he recognized who you are and all of your escapade will be in vain due to this event. "Its been a while, isn't it?" as he smiled at you while he motioned over to change the bandage on your temples with a new and clean one. You tried to speculate the man's face as you suddenly remember who he is. "Erwin?! Is that you?!" as your hands tried to touch his face everywhere you can in disbelief. "Haha. At your service Ma'am. You grew into a beautiful, fine princess." as he complimented you. You stared deeply in his eyes that is as blue as the sky. You stayed quiet for a moment as he is removing the ruby-stained bandages on your temples and asked "What are you doing in Trost dis--- ." "Erwin. Please. Keep me here." as you cut him halfway from finishing what he is about to say while looking at him, expressionless. "I'm not a princess anymore." you informed him as you lowered your head trying to remember what happened. "Why? What happened?" as he tried to asked in curiosity. "Its......" you stopped the moment you tried to remember the reason why as your eyes stared deeply into the abyss. Then a knock was heard outside bringing back your thoughts in earth. “Squad Leader Erwin. You've been requested by Commander Shardis in his office.” as a cadet informed Erwin. “Tell him I will be there in less than 20 minutes.” as he said dismissing the cadet. “Squad Leader?” as you asked Erwin. He smiled at you as a response. Erwin handed you a handful of foods for you to consume and regain your lost energy. “Your highness, if you don't talk to me on why are you wandering outside the wall Sina, smeared and wounded, I might hand you over to the king.” he told you as your eyes grew wider again, agitated. You hurried to his side as you knelt down to hug his legs beneath to stop him “No-- please Erwin! Don't submit me to my uncle! Please.” you cried as you plead to him. He slowly lifts you up by supporting your arms to stand up and said “Hush now, princess. Now I have an idea why you are outside the protection of the inner wall by your actions. I just need a clarification once I get back. You understand?” as Erwin wipes your tears away from your drenched cheeks. You nodded in agreement as you inhaled for a lost air while crying. Erwin pats your head as he move to get out of his office. He told you to stay in here and don't let anyone come inside.
