Chapter 2

*Katie pov*

"Shit Awsten mom's calling..." I called out.

"FUCK!" Awsten screamed "alright give me the phone I'll deal with her," He replied. I gave him my phone. he grabbed it and answered and put it on speaker.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU? YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HOME 30 MINUTES AGO!!!" Mom yelled on the phone.

"Hey mom" Awsten replied. Otto got out of his bunk and looked really confused as to what was happening.

"Awsten..? what are you doing with Katie's phone?"

"I just, well I, " His voice began to shake "I found Katie at H-E-B and we're on break for the tour and..." Awsten got cut off by mom

"Tour? what do you mean tour? That stupid band actually got you doing something for your life for once?"

"umm... yeah. Listen I think I wanna take Katie on tour with me for the rest of it. I mean hey she's off on break right now and it would be the perfect time!"

"No, I don't want her going on tour with you. I don't want her being influenced by a bunch of teenagers."

"Well, you know what, I don't care what you think Cheryl. Katie is going on tour with me and that is final. I don't want her spending anymore time at the house then she needs to. You treat her so badly and I am sick and tired of it"

"WELL YOU ARE NOT HER PARENT AWSTEN"

"WELL, YOU ARE NOT HER PARENT EITHER! I AM MORE OF HER PARENT THEN YOU WILL EVER BE!" Awsten starts screaming

"FINE YOU'LL BE HEARING FROM MY LAWYER" she screams. Awsten hangs up the phone in pure anger. He gives me my phone back and walks away in anger

"what was that?" Otto questions

"It's called our bitch of a mother" I answered

"Woah that was harsh," Geoff said.

"Ehh not really" I replied. I walk over to Awsten

"What do you want?" he asks.

"Well I wanted to show you something" I replied. I grabbed my phone and went onto Instagram and start scrolling through and looking at pictures.

"The office memes on Instagram. I know they always make you happy" I replied.

"ooo let me see," He answers while I show him the meme when Michael says he is always Beyoncé. "Haha I like that one you want to watch it right now we have some time before we get to the venue."

"Yeah sure I'm always up for watching the office it's one of the best shows" I replied. I sat down while thinking about all the times when me and Awsten would watch it whenever things were bad at home.

Awsten gets up to go grab his computer. He comes back and opens up Netflix. He then turns on the office from the first episode of season one. All you could hear for about a hour later was us just laughing our asses off because of all the things that Michael would say. About two hours later we get to the venue we grab all of our stuff we want to bring into the green room and go inside. I noticed that there was a couch so I run over to go sit down

"Ha! Mine!'

"You're such a kid" Awsten says laughing

"Not as much as you are!" I reply back

"Touché" he laughs. I grab my phone and start to scroll through instagram

Five minutes later Awsten says,"Katie get off your phone! You have been on it all day. Socialize with us!"
