Karkat s POV-

I open my eyes to feel warmth. I glance down and see that I'm still laying on top of Dave. He's so comfy.. my purring starts up again and I nuzzle his chest a bit. Glancing up at his face, he's so fucking gorgeous. Even when he's sleeping. I stare for a few minutes before I notice his eyelids twitching open. His deep and extravagant red irises finally open to meet mine. I can't help but smile. He makes me happy.

Dave's POV-

I feel the lightweight of the little troll I call my lover laying on me. He's just like a kitten, my kitten. I finally open my eyes and look down at him, seeing that smile.. that genuine smile that's so rare to others but feels natural to me. I smile back sleepily and move a hand to cup his cheek. "Mornin' baby.." I say, softly and with a hint of southern genes. I feel his face heat up against my hand.

Karkat s POV-

My face turns a deep scarlet when he speaks and I can't stop smiling. "Good morning." I say in return as I lean up to press my lips against his, I swear every time I kiss him I feel like air. He trails off from our kiss and starts pecking at my neck. I giggle lightly, I know he likes my laugh, even if I don't. He stops peppering my neck with kisses and pecks my cheeks instead. I laugh faintly once more and smile. Managing to put my arms back around his torso and nuzzle him once more. "I love you.." I mutter, and when he mutters it back in my ear I blush and feel like I'm melted. Nothing but a pool of liquid. I used to be as cold as ice, but he warmed my heart and turned me back to water. I'm his kitten.. and he's my cool guy.
