Trashing my backpack into the neatly bed. I took the liberty to mess it up more than it is, throwing myself; leaving gravity to pull me down. Laying down with my face to the ceiling, I just pictured above how wasted I was.
Without warning, I beam through my back as I tried to identify the sky-blue light illuminating my bag. I looked at my phone and soon discarded the idea of the beeping phone.
My nerves are blowing up the roof but with the little courage I had, I raised my guts and in a glimpse, unzipped it as delicate as possible.
The unexpected, delivered an expression of complete amazement as I was wondering how can dull blue jewels give out such glow.
It radiated my entire room in a blast, bringing joy and happiness into the damp room.
Mesmerized in time, I reached for it with the most malefic smile and empty headed, no fear surrounded me, pure ice could be felt, as if all my senses had awakened after my long lasting eternal sleep.
I grab it delicately but within seconds my fingers, turned into knuckles as I felt tremendous amount of power running through my vains, causing me to blackout in partial darkness.
I was wakened by the sound of a clinging door being opened as I opened my eyes. It was dad coming to check me up after his long journey at Valley Cliff forest.
He is known around town as the grumpiest, meanest and most difficult man to deal with but when it comes to his little cutesy pie, I just melt his heart right away. My dad is a strong man despite being unemployed due to the closing of the Coal Mines.
I stand up and immediately give him a hug. " I know you were needing it, cutesy pie." Dad responds with a tired voice. "Of course you silly, I haven't seen you for a week." giving him that naughty look.
I remembered that I pasted out because of the blue light and beamed at my bad but saw no trace of anything suspicious. "I am starving honey, let me make you some spaghetti daddies way." We are actually Italian descendents, so papa is a great cook.
By the time the pasta had boiled just to that perfect point, papa was bringing in the red, bright sauce that was calling me to eat it, so badly. I took the liberty of taking liking the spoon as he notched himself a 10 in the dish presentation.
After some many forks and repeated plates, It was time for camping story by the log fire outside the breezy forest. He talked and talked about his journey and how he almost spotted a sanderling (a type of bird). I could not stop thinking about what happened to me.
My curiosity was so great that I could not wait any further. I felt desired tickles to dig through it. I have to. I need to. With a large fake yawn, I slowly gave a goodbye kiss and went straight to my securely shut bedroom.
I opened that ragged bag like trash with extreme wrinkles forming around the edges of my face. I looked at the desired key, puzzled as I slowly revolve the heavy shiny metal. I could feel like that I was awakening it. It's massive blue jewel, not only glowed intensely but also waved in a ripple motion as it could whisper my name.
My eyes went into berserk mode as I came closer and closer. When I finally heard clearly a voice almost melodic calling my name "Vinie... Vinie... Vinie..." I took the long lasting breathe I have been holding on, causing me to diffuse out of my focused mode. I am not crazy! I kept hearing it every time I went near it.
It gave me a whiter and more intense glow, causing me to enter in a profound state taking me into a memory. I was standing right next to four hollow trees marked by red stars that surrounded a minuscule wooden door.
I recognised the place as I saw the edge of the same stream which I cross to school. But here looks like the where it begins as U turn around and glance through the Wickham Mountains in the west.
I opened it up and walked into the basement, further and lower until I placed a dusty-brown box into an altar, it felt cold and I could swell the damp moisture around it. I can feel that this is not my body but yes, someone else, I couldn't talk or move or even listen but just observe.
I took violet-spiky thorns and surrounded the box with it as drops of blood (I guess) falls below the surface. I notice a large carved keyhole with the same insignia from the key at the back of the box.
I still can't figure what the content is. I start walk towards the door,, as I struggle to make a single sound.... I feel speechless, unable to ask for an answer. Who am I,? What am I doing here? Why am I here?
I wake up from the strange vision again. I drop the key into the floor when I realise that it's in my hands. I look at the clock and it has been only forty seconds since the transe I experienced. I grab the key again but this time with my blanket and place it inside my bag.
Before I can forget I grab myself paper and pencil and sketch down the area where I was. Arts courses really pay off in the end. I try to place as much details as possible avoiding omitting any vital clue. My hand moves like a blender in top speed, I try to capture the geographical points, that I will need as a reference to pin point the exact location of the place, using my personal mini map about the region around.
For the next three hours I research about its location without rest. Continously grabbing and dragging papers and maps. The forest may not be the size of Yellowstone but it's magnitude is immense. And the vision I saw was in early spring while trees and shrubs flourished, so it's much harder to track down in winter where all trees look similar.
My curiosity is the spark that ignited my inner flame, I will not go defeated till I find what I am searching for...
