Background: Faith lived in the forest in a cabin. One day, when she was 15, she was out looking for food in the forest when she was kidnapped by a gang and was going to be sold away for money until she had this weird urge to fight for her life.

She fought all the gang members and killed them. She returned home to see her parents dead and her 10 year old sibling gone. After that, Faith became super emotionless and started to learn how to fight.

She then joined an underground gang. Erwin Smith of the Survey Corps captured her and started to train her under his wing. At the age of 20 she became a Survey Corps member. She served in Hanji's team until she was recognized for her skill.

At age 25, 5 years later, she was recognized for her amazing ability to fight and to strategize. She joined Captin Levi's team and that's were the story begins.
