You Sir, Need Faith

Levi's POV:

I looked down at the sleeping girl in my arms. Wow. Today was some day alright. I'm pretty sure this girl's powers will be easier to control if she loses it.

I must have been staring at her for a long time because I almost banged into a pole. Who the hell puts poles in the middle of the field?

I heard snickers behind me so I turned my head and glared. They all shut up immediately. I started to walk on again, keeping my distance away from all the others. Hanji caught up to me though....

Hanji: "So Levi, how do you like her?"

Me: "...She'll be a good addition to the team. Her fighting is flawless, like me. Her strategize is flawless too, like me. Her power was...interesting-"

Hanji: "WHAT DO YOU MEAN INTERESTING?! IT WAS FREAKING-"

Me: *Sigh* "Hanji....if you keep yelling you'll wake her up..."

That got her to shut up. Her power was amazing though. She was beautiful. I mean, she is beautiful already but then she became even more beautiful....what the hell am I saying..?

I might be tired. Yes, that's it. I walked into the infirmary and put her on the bed. Hanji put new clothes for her and turned to me.

Hanji: "Levi, when you leave please lock the door. Can't have any asshole come in and mess around with her, can we?"

I nodded as she waved to me muttering a good night. When the doors closed I sighed. She's so troublesome...I looked back down at Faith. She was sweating slightly and panting.

Me: 'She's probably having a nightmare...'

I wanted to wake her but I didn't know how. I put both hands on her shoulders and shook her slightly. She didn't wake up.

Me: "Oi, wake up Faith..."

Nothing. I lightly slapped her face. Nothing. Damn, I started to stroke her hair. I've heard that even when you're sleeping, you can still feel the motion. She started to calm down. Finally, when she was calm, I stopped.

It was maybe 1 am right now and I'm tired. I got up from the stool I was sitting on and was about to walk out when I felt a hand grabbed mine. I was about to snap it when I turned around to see Faith.

She was half asleep and she looked really cute.

Faith: "L...Levi...Can you...stay here with...me?...zzzz"

I blinked. She just fell asleep again. Her grip on her hand though was really tight. Damn this girl....

I shook her shoulders and her eyes opened slowly.

Me: "If you want me to stay, help me move the bed closer to yours..."

She took a moment to comprehend but when she did she nodded. She got up and helped me push the bed till it connected with hers. She lay back down and I lay on my new bed.

She stared at me for a moment.

Me: "Go to sleep. I'm here now..."

She nodded and kissed my cheek. Even if it was a little peck, my face started to grow red. She gave a sleepy smile.

Faith: "Thank you...Levi"

She closed her eyes and fell asleep. I smiled for the first time in a long while.

I was about to sleep when the door slowly opened to reveal a tired Hanji.

Hanji: "Levi! I almost forgot to tell you, because of her angel blood she'll get nightmares and she needs human comfort to stop them-"
