"UP!!! WAKE UP!!! JESUS CHRIST MAN WAKE UP!" The mysterious man says while slapping our main character. "OW!! What the hell tommy!!!" Our young protagonist says with an angry tone. "Sorry Chris I had to hit you, you slept through your alarm again. Wake up we're gonna miss school." Chris then looks at the time and realizes that he needs to get up and get ready for school. "Hurry up! You know if we're late Mr. Matharu is going to be pissed off so come on hurry!!!" "I know tommy" Chris says while putting on his school uniform. Tommy then leaves their room to get breakfast. "Geez, what's his problem... SHIT I FORGOT TODAY WAS THE DAY FOR FINAL EXAMS!!!" Chris rushes out of his room not having time to eat breakfast Chris grabs his brother and they rush off to school.
They got to school one minute before the bell rang and they both collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. "We made is Chris!! WE MADE IT!!" "MR. RALEIGH!!!!" Mr. Matharu said looking angrily at Chris. Chris quickly sat and and nervously replied. "Yes sir?" His voice was shaking cause this wasnt the first time he was in trouble and Mr. Matharu said if he was in trouble one more time he was expelled. "MY OFFICE NOW!!!" Mr. Matharu walked away and Tommy looked at Chris "dude your ass is grass." Chris sighed and said "I know dude you don't have to tell me"
Chris was now walking to Mr. Matharu's office nervous as ever. He didn't know if he failed another test or if he was in trouble. He couldn't miss the final exam and the final exam is all he was thinking about. He walks through the door to the office and Mr. Matharu is holding a stack of papers. "Now Mr. Raleigh these papers here im guessing you're are wondering what they are. Arent you?" Chris nods in agreement looking confused. "Well Chris these papers are your exam you will be taking it in my office for I will be the one grading it and telling you if you graduate or not." Mr. Matharu notices Chris sweating and smiles. "Don't worry Chris I believe you can do this. I know ive been giving you a hard time lately but this is all for a purpose." Mr. Matharu then passes the papers to Chris and says "you may begin." "Wait I don't get a chance to study? I'm just going in unprepared." "You're right Chris... Ok you have 20 minutes to study." "Yes sir!"
Three hours and twenty minutes have gone by and Chris is taking the test.
"I'm so gonna fail this test I just know it." "You have five minutes remaining Chris." Then out of nowhere and without warning a full solar eclipse happens and everything goes dark. All lights have turned off and Chris hears a faint scream. The lights turns back in and Chris looks at Mr. Matharu "did you hear a girl scream?" Mr. Matharu looks at Chris confused "no one screamed chris." Chris then passes out and with all his attempts Mr. Matharu cannot wake him up.
Chris is rushed to the hospital and his brother is next to him holding Chris' hand tears forming in his eyes hoping his brother will be alright.
Six months pass by and Chris wakes up in the hospital not knowing what happened.
"Where am I?... SHIT THE EXAM!!" Chris screams while in the hospital bed. Nurses rush in and sedate him because he is fighting to get out. His brother then pins him down and he passes out.
Authors notes: Hey guys! Its the gur behind the screen writing you this story right now! Now I know this chapter wasn't that long and I am sorry about that but im a beginner author so the chapters are gonna be short until I get better at writing. Now the names Matharu and Raleigh may sound familiar. That's because they are from the book series "the novice" by author Taran Matharu. He inspired me to make this book and I have talked with him a couple times and he is a really good guy! So i hope you guys like this series because im gonna be working really hard on it.
