Chapter 1: Awake (Bella POV)

I woke up, seeing light peek in through the curtains of the cove. Momma and Papa were still sleeping, so I crept out quietly. I had to blink a couple of times to get used to the light. I saw Bon Bon sitting all by himself, so I went to him. "Hi Bon! Watcha doin'? Wanna play?" I asked, Bon Sat quietly and did not respond. I poked him, but no answer! I thought he was dead, so I cried. "Momma! Papa! WAAAAH!!" I shouted in tears. Mommy ran with daddy out of the cove. "What's wrong, baby-girl?" Daddy asked, he hugged me all better. "Daddy, Bon is not talking, he's dead." I cried. Mommy picked up Bon, "No love, he's only sleeping. He and Freddy must've had a fight again." Momma showed me his closed eyes, "Oh." I said, I wiped my tears. "When will he wake up, Momma?" Mommy looked at me, "Only time will tell." She kissed my head and went to the kitchen, "Hungry, Sweetheart?" She asked, I said Yes. "Oatmeal or eggs?" Momma said, "Eggs, please." I answered, Papa kissed my cheek. After Momma made breakfast, me and Papa set the table.

Momma set a big plate of yummy eggs and sausages in front of me. "Here you go, Sweetie!" She said as she kissed my head, "Thanks, mommy." I said back. Then I started stuffing food in my mouth! It was that good! "Use your manners, Bella." Mommy reminded me as she picked up her fork. Manners, manners, manners! But I watched mommy and I copied her. She laid a napkin in her lap, so I did the same. Next, she swooped her fork into her food and nicely put it into her mouth. So I did the same. Then she began to her sausage with a knife, so I copied. Daddy watched, he smiled, and said to mommy, "Honey,I think you have a clone." Mommy raised her eyebrows at me, "Oh really? Bella, you don't have to copy me, sweetie." Momma said."I know, I just want to be neat like you!" I said, Momma smiled and kissed my cheek. After breakfast, I was running around with Bon. Momma said I learned to walk very quick. Bon always liked to race me, he's very fast! I wobbled on my legs but I was sturdy, I ran like the fastest toddler in the world! We turned a corner, and I ran faster, then Momma was there! She opened her arms and picked me up as I ran into them! "Be careful, sweetie! You don't want to get hurt!" She said, she kissed my cheek. "I'm just running, Momma." I said. "I know, baby. I don't want you getting hurt is all." Momma said. " Ok, Momma." I said as I hugged her.
