Chapter 3- A kind stranger

I finally reached the town, it was beautiful! But I hadn't eaten in a few days and I was so hungry. I decided to walk around and explore, I got lucky because there was an ice festival going on, and it was amazing! There where ice sculptures and games and food, oh how the food smelled so good, I could almost taste it. They were giving out free samples of almost every dish, it was wonderful I had never had so many different types of food, I couldn't choose what I liked better they were all so good.

When I was done tasting all the food I went back to exploring. While walking I noticed that there was an ice sculpting contest. There where many different sculptures and they were all so unique!. As I was running around I all of a sudden found myself on the ground, I looked up to see a tall man, he seemed to reminded me of my butler Sam, the man was wearing a well made tail coat and had black hair just a little longer than Sam's.

 "Oh dear. I'm so terribly sorry, how unfortunate, might I help you up?" The man said holding his hand out to me.

"Thank you." I say taking his hand.

"Are you alright? You seem to have injured yourself." He said then lifted up my arm that had been injured earlier. The scarf must have fallen off when I fell, and the pain was starting to come back.

"I;m quite alright thank you." I said, but he must have been able to tell I was lying.

"Are you sure? It looks like it must really hurt, I could bandage it up if you'd like."

"That would be most helpful thank you."

I knew the danger of allowing a stranger to help me but I truly did need help. I followed him to a bench next to the frozen pond and sat down. He left and then returned with some fabric and a small jar in his hand.

"Now I will warn you, this my sting a bit, but it will help." He said holding up the small jar.

"What is it?"

"It's a special blend of herbs and other plants. It will help to heal the cut faster." He then applied the medicine and rapped the new piece of fabric around my arm.

"Why are you being so nice to me?"

"Well I couldn't just leave you out here and let that cut get infected." he said with a small smile that seemed warm yet could at the same time.

"I suppose your right. And thank you for helping me, I wish there was something I could do to repay you."

"There will be no need for that."

"Sebastian!!!" I heard a voice shout.

"Well I must be off now, that is my master calling, perhaps we shall meet again some day." Before I could say anything the man was gone as if he had never been there in the first place. 'Sebastian.' I thought to myself, was that the name of the kind stranger who had helped me?

* Time skip*

 Later that evening it began to grow much colder. I knew I had to find some where safe to stay for the night. As I was walking I began to fall into deep thought not paying attention to where I was going, then out of no were a loud clap of thunder hit and I realized where I was. I was in a forest and I knew that forests are not a safe place to be at night. The rain began to pore down fast and hard. I ran as fast as I could, within minuets I was soaked and was colder than I had ever been before.

After what seemed like hours, I came to what looked like the biggest manner I had ever seen in my life. I quickly ran up to the door and knocked on it hoping someone would answer. After a couple of minutes of waiting the door finally opened, but when I saw who had opened the door I almost couldn't believe who it was...
