riley.hayes i would like to take this time to clear up a few things.
some of you are presuming that the reason i haven't been posting and have been feeling down - which you may have seen from pap shots - is because of harry, i'd just like to point out that this is not true, the reasons i haven't been feeling my best is because of some personal and family problems and that's why i'm back home at the moment along with Addi and Luke to see my older brothers and my sister. the two reasons i haven't been my best for the past month is 1) i recently found out that my mother has passed - even though my siblings and i weren't close to my mother because of things that happened when we were younger - we still needed to go to her funeral because no matter what we are her only kids and we'll always have some love for her. Addi and Luke came along with me because they are family in not just my but also Nina's, Ian's and Stefan's opinion since we have known them since we were born. 2) i found out a few days after my mother's funeral that i was diagnosed with cancer in my leg, it wasn't severe but it did put me out of action for a while after getting it removed and even now i'm lying in bed with a massive-ass-bright purple cast with random drawing/prints and quotes written all over it on my leg - which will be on for approximately six weeks - so Addi, Luke and i have been staying in San Francisco with the rest of the hayes - hemmings family so we can be together through these hard times. i'd also like to let you all know that Harry and i are still very close, he's being forced into things he does not want to be apart of and that's why he didn't mention he had a girlfriend because in his honest opinion he didn't see her as his girlfriend since they didn't have a connection. i hope you guys all understand harry's reasoning and still love and respect him for everything he is. all my love, R x

i thought since Riley's mum was mentioned in this i should clear up a few things about her family -

so Riley's back story is that her mother was an abusive drunk who shouldn't have had kids in the first place but went and did so anyway, she would come home from a bar late at night - if she came home at all - while the kids had gone to sleep and either pass out or wake them up by screaming about how she has to do everything around the house, even though she's never there and the four kids do it all. she would physically and verbally abuse them - especially the two oldest which is Ian and Nina because the other two at the time were too young to properly understand - but as they all grew up it got worse. their mother would walk in the house late at night after the kids had made dinner, done the chores that Nina assigned for all of them including herself and went to bed, with a random drunk asshole she met at the bar or just completely drunk herself like always. the abuse got worse, it went from a few slaps a day for Riley to getting beaten if no one else was around along with very disgusting verbal abuse.

there father was a down right coward as he left after all the years with his so called 'wife' and getting her impregnated four times, years later he was charged with sexual assault and physical abuse and was thrown in jail when Riley was eight years old and has been in there since.

Luke, Addison and Riley had known each other since the day they were born - before Riley's  mother became abusive and an alcoholic - and through all those years they stuck together. that's why they're are so close now, because they know EVERYTHING that the other has been through.

by the time Ian turned eighteen he was able to take the other three away from their mother and found them selves in San Francisco where they still are today while Addison and Luke came too for their own personal reasons.
but now you have Riley who lives in Los Angeles with Addison as her roommate and Luke a few blocks away with his best mates.

i hope that clears a few things up.
