Brian's POV:
Yesterday was fockin' awesome.. I was hanging out with Evan. We decided to go for a little walk. YouTube was broken again and I was stressed out about it and I just wanted to let go of everything negative, that was in my head. We headed from school right to the most beautiful place there was. People often go there to just relax and have picnic or somethin'. When me and Evan got there, we chose a nice little place to sit. We sat down and just talked and talked and talked. He was a true friend to me. We were still in high school, but in few months we were going to finally graduate. I loved hanging out with him, or just playing video games with him. Evan would always make me laugh or just be the guy, that would always make my day.
,,Brian? Are you there?'' I heard Evan say. My brain turned off for a minute there, but I just laughed it off and started listening. ,,Jesus.. the time is going so fast.'' Evan said and sighed. He was right. ,,Yeah.. I remember, how we started talking to each other five or six years ago, like it was yesterday.'' I chuckled and rested my head on the tree, that we were sitting under.
,,Could you imagine having like a "regular" job, other than posting stupid stuff on YouTube?" Evan asked me. ,,I can, but I don't want to even think about it. Remember my work in Subway? No, thank you. I'm good." I chuckled. Evan giggled and happily sighed. He then stood up and wanted me to follow him. ,,There's a nice place near by, come on! I'll show you!" He said and smiled.
Evan led me to a cute little glade, where we laid on the ground and just kept talking about our past. It was so much fun, just talking to Evan made me forget about everything bad. ,,Oh my God! The stupid Dragon Ball Z video! That was like one of the best days, I've ever had! I've never laughed so much!" Evan laughed. ,,Fockin' hell! We really all have humor of six year olds." I said and started laughing along with Evan.
We sat up and started smiling at each other like the two dumbasses we are. We kind of started leaning towards each other. I looked at his lips, my eyes were starting to close. ,,Brian! Look!" Evan broke the moment. He stood up, pointing at a big ass tree. ,,Follow me!" Evan happily said running towards the tree.
He started climbing the tree like a monkey. In a second, he was all the way at the highest branch. I started climbing right after him. The tree was so tall, it took a while to get to the top. But I finally made it. A beautiful view made me gasp. It was so gorgeous.. I couldn't take my eyes away from it. ,,Wow.." I heard Evan say. It was truly amazing. We stood there, just looking speachless at the beautiful view when *CRACK*
I was falling.
I hit the ground hard hitting my head and my arm. I groaned in pain, starting to feel dizzy. I closed my eyes and tried to move, but I couldn't. When I opened my eyes, I saw Evan jumping down and running towards me. He quickly kneeled down and started calling someone. I couldn't hear him. All I heard was this high pitched whiz, that made my head hurt even more. I closed my eyes, feeling that I was about to pass out. The only thing, that I felt was Evan holding my hand. I smiled and started to feel that every part of my body was numb.
Then the loud whiz stopped..
And I passed out.
I woke up in a bed. I was in a quiet room with white walls and almost nothing in it. My left arm was in so much pain. I looked at it and saw that it was in a cast. I sighed and took a look at the cast but then I realized, that my other hand was in some other hand, that didn't belong to me. Evan was holding my hand, having his head resting on the bed. He was in a chair next to my bed. He looked like he was sleeping.
,,Ev?" I spoke up. He quickly looked up in shock and gasped, smiling. ,,Brian! You're awake! Finally!" Evan said and happily exhaled. He realized, that we were still holding hands, so he let go and started blushing like crazy.
In a second a nurse came in. ,,Oh! Looks like someone's finally up! I'll get your information about your stay in the hospital in a moment Mr. Hanby." She smiled and left. ,,About my stay in the hospital?" I worriedly said and sighed. ,,No, don't worry. I think that they are gonna keep you here for just a day or two. You were unconscious for few hours, so they want to check, if everything is ok with your head. You hit the ground pretty damn hard." Evan said looking down.
,,I feel like it's all my fault.. I was the one, who made you climb the tree.." Evan said, still sadly looking down. ,,Evan, no. It wasn't your fault at all! Look at me. I'm fine.." I said, smiling.
Time skip..
The doctor said that they need to check, if I had a concussion and that they need to keep me in the hospital till the next day. Evan really wanted to stay with me the whole time, I was staying there, but the doctors didn't let him. He had to go back home in the evening, but was back the other morning.
It was like 5 pm, when they let me go and I really wanted to see the tree I fell off of. Evan took me there, showing me where he took care of me, when I passed out and everything and then took my hand and dragged me behind the tree, showing me the beautiful view, that we saw yesterday. It was more beautiful tho.. The sun was setting and I've never seen something more beautiful.
,,Hey, Bri! I've got an idea!" Evan said and took out a mark. He pulled my arm in the cast to him and started writing Evan on it. He then put the mark back into his pocket and smiled. ,,Just wanted to be the first one, who signed it.." Evan said and blushed a little. I started looking into his eyes, saying nothing. Evan only blushed more and shyly looked down.
I lifted his chin up and made him look into my eyes. Evan was confused at first but then kind of got the idea. Few days ago, I realized that I started to have feelings for my best friend. I wanted to tell him yesterday, but it seemed like everything was in my way for me to do so. We started leaning towards each other. ,,Brian.." Evan whispered. I just smiled and kissed him. I felt Evan smile back into the kiss, which made me kiss him even more passionately. We both soon melted into the kiss and our lips started to move in sync. My hand moved down to his waist and his onto my neck.
I felt butterflies in my stomach and never wanted to pull away, but when we did, we just looked at each other with lust and kissed again. It felt so right. We pulled away again and smiled. ,,This is the best day ever.." Evan said and hugged me. I hugged him tightly back and closed my eyes.
,,I love you.."
