You've got to run!

1944 , Nazi Occupied France, The Nazis  have now been trialing and persecuting everyone that is suspected of being part of the French Resistant. Francois Jean-Marie has to use every skill he has to deliver a message which will change the coarse of the war. Francois is part of the french resistant, he must not get caught and make sure this message has to reach the British.

Francois has been with the French resistant since 1943 he was a messenger boy who delievered messages all across France for other members to get. No one uses Telegraphs or phnoes because they know very well that the Nazis will be able to hack the messages.

Will he be able to deliver the message safely or not.

Francois had just woken up and now is eating his Break fast when he heard that someone was knocking in the door. Francois got his gun and took a chair for protection, he thought it was a Nazi soldiers. " Come in ! the door is open! " Francois said he was surprise to find out that it wasn't a Nazi , it was some soldiers from the resistant. Francois dropped his gone and greatly welcomed his guest. " Bonjour Monsieur!" said Francois and the men replied " Bonjour! Monsieur Francois!" . Francois ask the men what they where here for , The men said " we need you to deliver the most important  message in the war!'  . Francois ask , "what is it monsieurs" , Just don't  ask ,all we need you to do is just go Deliver this to Calais and some men will take the message and use a Pigeon to deliver it to the Allies." After the men had left and have given him the message Francois dashed to his room,got his bag and placed his gun, a little bit of food ,a map and a Compass. After packing up Francois got to his Bicycle and rode off.

Francois's first stop was the town of Bourque. SInce he was running low on food and getting tired he made a stop there. He then went to bake shop a, he knew the baker very well because the baker was also part of the resistant. Francois ask the baker if he could bake a piece of bread for him. Then Francois made a  hole in the  bottom of the bread and put the message inside and covered it. After it was baked Francois had a small Drink and some cake and rode off again.

After riding and riding for hours Francois rested in an old abandoned Mill House. Francois took some hay and made it a bed. Later , in the middle of the Night, Francois was woken up by the sounds of Gun shots. Francois was surprised! Nazis where outside executing suspected people. Francois then sneaked  to the back and slowly walked towards the three armed men ,With three shots the Three men where dead. Francois knew that there were more nearby and as quick as a flash took off on his bicycle and fled.

Francois was getting close to Paris but now he had to  stop just nearby in the small town of Fantine Boardeux. It was a nice pit stop since many people belonged to the resistant there and little Nazis were there. He stayed there for about three weeks talking, drinking and eating. Then as Francois was just getting Comfortable he remembered that he still has a  ,message to deliver. Again Francois packed up and rode off. After a few more Hours, Francois Finally arrived at Paris. There were many Germans and it was not safe there either. But , if he went off to fast  he would be suspected and killed but if he took of slowly then he would have a higher chance of getting caught. Francois decided  to just blend in. After Francois arrived he was shocked to see many Tanks, Trucks and men there. He was being very careful , not to be ina rush so he won't be suspected. He deiced to stay in Paris for a week or two even though he knew the risks it causes.

Francois took some money from his pocket and decided to stay in an Apartment. He was looking around until he saw a snice looking apartment that looks cheap to rent. But there was  a military Inspection post nearby. He decided to take the risk and go. As he was riding a German soldier told me to halt. Then soldiers began inspecting his bicycle and stuff. They stole some belongings from him too but Francois was too scared to protest. He went on as soon as the German Soldiers allowed him to go.

He went inside the Apartment and ask the a man in the counter for how much the rent was, the man was old-looking ,he was almost bald but with strands of white hair left, he wore a Cheap Tuxedo and told Francois that it was only 50 francs a week. Francois had 70 Francs . Francois gave the man some of his money.The man directed him to his room. It was small had one empty Cabinet ,a small but comfortable enough bed and a floor mat. Before the war he knew the cost of a room like this would have been 10 francs a week, but the Nazis charged every one with high taxes the Prices soon got higher than ever before.

He peeked at the small window which was also inside the room and tried to plan his escape from Paris. He found out that Paris had Sewer system . After almost a week of planning Francois checked out of the Apartment and dashed off. At the middle of the night where no one was , not even Soldiers where about , he opened one Man hole and after that, he fitted his bike inside. He watched in some holes in the Sewer. People getting executed, soldiers stealing from Innocent people and some Jews getting persecuted for no reason at all.

Francois cried as he walked . he told him self, " I will make these Demons die! ". After a few hours he got out of the stinky sewer smelly like the sewer. After that he stole some bread and before he dashed off, he checked if he still had the Bread with the Message inside.It was still there then he was riding along the country side once again.

He finally reached Calais exhausted and weak. He gave the message to the men that told him the password. The men put the message into a small bag and tied it to a pigeon's leg. The pigeon then flew off going to the British high command.

Francois was happy that he finally got the message deliever. Two weeks later he got sick and died . But his last words were, " I have finally done my duty to the Mother land".

When the Pigeon reached London one British soldier took it and re-wrote it in the form of  Type writing since the message could not be well understood by the Commanders.

After the Soldeir re-wrote it , he gave it to Winston Churchill and said the message to the other generals out loud. The message was, " Cancel your attack in calais , we have found out that it is Easier to attack the Germans threw Normandy , because the germans are expecting you to Land in Calais" Immediately, Someone made  abroad cast to all the ships in the Royal navy to change  course and land in Normandy instead.

Few weeks later the British ahve set foot on french Soil and took the Germans completely by sureprise. One year later the Germans finally surrendered to the allies , While the Japanese in Asia followed months after thanks to the Atomic Bombs Fath-Man and Thin-Man.

Alas msot historians never recalled about the young man that sent that message, every one thought it was the British commanders who thought of that plan. So know one really knew who Francois jean-marie was, the real hero of World War Two.
