Hey there home slice! My name is Ashlynn Grace Jones and I am 16 years old. I was born in Australia, but moved to Utah with my parents and older brother when I was 12. My mother's name is Lillian, my father's name is Theo, and my eighteen year old brother's name is Xander. I am currently a sophmore in high school and am a straight A's student.
I know what you are thinking, I mean what a nerd, right? Well I guess if you would like to call me that you may... I just feel like this generation doesn't take education as seriously as they should and I want to succeed in life. How cliché right? Well whatever floats your boat, and at least I will succeed in life.
Well back to more about me. I have brown hair that is about mid-back, and green eyes. I am very tall for my age, 5' 9" to be exact, so I am pretty much the tallest girl in my grade. I own a horse named Chance and I compete in shows around the country when I can. When you get to know me, people may say I'm sassy, outgoing, spunky, crazy, adventurous, and even a bit crazy, that's me!
I have 2 best friends, Cami Johnson and Rayne Smith, who I met when I first moved to the United States. We first became friends because of our hate for 'she who must not be named' aka Carly Watts. Carly is the steriotypical 'Regina George' of the school who just wants to get into every boy's pants. That's right, I said it! I don't know why, but ever since I moved to Utah, she has always hated me and had something against me and I don't care enough to find out.
Faye has blonde hair with brown undertones and blue eyes. She is fair skinned and looks very innocent and cute. Underneath it all, she has the most explosive temper. I have learned to not get on Faye's bad side because of it. She had a rough past which she doesn't like to talk about and keeps bottled inside of her, but I think part of what drew me to her was that she could put on a brave face in rough times.
Rayne, on the other hand, has ginger hair (she has a soul, I promise) and green eyes like mine. She is fair skinned and overall, just very attractive. She is very outgoing no matter what and is very keen on making new friends wherever we go. She is the only person who can pull out the outgoing self in me when I'm out in public. Rayne is the artist of the group and will spend hours on end sketching things in the park or in public somewhere. Her favorite place to go is Liberty Park, a huge park with a pond, aviary, and many children and people.
Ever since I moved to the US, people have always picked on me for things like my accent (I am from Australia after all), my height, and other things like the fact that I wear glasses or I'm a straight A student. It never really was that bad until Carly started joining in on it as well. I have had my locker vandalized, food spilled on me, name calling and more that I don't care to bring up.
I have always had a dream of making it big and becoming a hero for little girls and showing that you can overcome the obstacles in your way, but based on where I am now, I don't know how I'm going to get there. After all, I am starting at zero.
