Chapter 11

Kiera's POV

Cameron excused Kiera for a while and so we are left in confusion.

"Wow,that was a great performance?" Niall said being the first one to talk.

I hummed in response,convinced that Cassidy has the most lovely voice in my opinion.Heck she even sound like a whale whaling when we were 15,her singing in skype makes it more worse.I guess things should really change for this time.

"More better than the original,that's Christina Aguilera were talking about," Perrie said in approval,waving her pointer finger in the air for emphasis.

I took bite of the ravioli in my plate,and taste the delightful cream sauce.I know that from the start that this is where Cameron is handling his famous cuisine,yet I acted surprise for Cassidy's sake.

I've noticed that Harry was looking at the other side which intrigue's me more since he's never been this quiet when were eating.He's almost like Niall who doesn't want to be bothered with his food while eating.

I followed his gaze where I see Cameron and Cassidy on the far corner talking to each other but worries me more when both of them were trying hard to cry.There hands are wrapped tightly.

Cassidy is really important to me since I know that she mostly depends on me for her happiness.

All of me knows her dark days before.I've been her savior,guardian,friend,and mostly-like sister.I often called her everyday to keep her attention away from sharp objects to cut herself.

She was really a brave person and hurts me to see her so vulnerable,like she is so weak.I know that sometimes she took her parents job seriously and done her best to prove that she can handle it.

I removed my gaze on them when my phone suddenly played 'locked out of heaven' inside my purse signalling for a call.

I took it out off my purse and saw that it is an unknown number.It took me for a while to think,answer or not?

Out of curiousity I answered it.

"Hello?" I said.

"Miss Horan," I know that voice from Mr.Carter.

Why was he calling me?

"Sup,Mr.Cart," I pursed my lips,and wipe a the excess cream in tge corner using the table napkin.

"Is Miss Schneid with you and the boys?" He asked worriedly.

"Cassidy is talking to her brother Cameron,as for now?And the boys are here beside me,with other friends," I said.I don't know but something must be important this time since Mr.Carter never called me.And how does he have my number?

"She finally saw her brother," I hear him mutter and heaved out a sigh after.

"Mr.Cart why do you have my number," I thought out loud.

"Mrs.Schneid gave me your number for a reason," He sighs.

"Oh,aunt," I wondered.

"Yes.Are the other guests we're friends of Miss Scneid as well?" He asked now suspicious.

"Wait for a second Mr.Cart," I excused myself since the boys are getting louder.I throwed a piece of peas to Niall since he is the loudest one.

"Shhhhh,Quiet you guys I'm talking to someone," I silenced them since they are acting immature while Perrie,Eleanour and Danielle we're just giggling on the boys behavior.

That shut them up seeing my hard look.Sometimes I always love to be the older sister in this group.

I put the phone back up to my ear seeing Mr.Carter never hanged up.

"Can you repeat what you said Mr.Cart,?" I said while throwing a brocolli on Nialls' way when he was about to burst out laughing on what Louis just whispered to him.Ears could bleed when Niall BURST out laughing.

"Are the other guests there are also her friends?" He emphasized the words friends as if making it clear.

"Yes they are having a good time a while ago and ummmm.... her favorite band Little Mix?" I asked unsure if he was familiar with them.

"Yeah?" He responded.

"A band member Perrie was with us which totally lights up her day and you should have seen her face,Priceless!!!," I said smiling wildly while imagining the huge grin of Cassidy from a while ago when she saw Perrie.I think about now that I'm talking to Mr.Carter like I'm a little kid or mostly a friend.

"That's great.I called this time to inform you something,But please keep this a secret towards Cassidy,Is that a promise?," I grew suspicious by the tone in his voice.

"Depends," I hesitantly said.

I heard him sigh in the backound and heard whispers.

"As part of Cassidy's new friends Matthew and Michaela wants to have a conversation to all of you,not in a business matter but for Cassidy's sake," He paused. "But without Cassidy knowing about this,"

"Cassidy's parents wants to talk to us?" I asked surprised since I haven't talked to them for years.

Since Liam was beside me he heard it clearly which took his attention.

He held a questioning look to ask if everythings' fine.I shot him a nod and mouthed 'later'.He nod and returned talking to his girlfriend.

"Yes," He replied.

"They'll be secretly flying across Australia,but they never told Cassidy," He replied quickly like he is in a hurry.

I hear shuffling in the line and Mr.Con spoke.

"They would appreciate if you never tell this to Cassidy,And they will be waiting for you at around 3 pm at your moms' house."(A/N Ok guys let's just pretend that Niall's mom already lives in England.OK?...Ok)

"Mom's house?" I asked confused as to why it would be at my mom's house.

"Maura is one of a closest friend of Matthew and Michaela,and she knows what happened," He explained timidly.

"Oh," I puffed.Out of all these days my mom knows all about this.So that means,maybe Niall knows about this,but without recognizing her.

I know that mom never give specific names to those who are not part of her publicity.She only keeps the person's identity to herself.She wants privacy yet she talks about this person for story telling like a fiction,but knows its true.

"Is that clear?" I nod my head.

How stupid am I to nod my head,when talking to someone who cannot even see me.I shook my head and mutter an approval,then the line went dead.

I slipped my phone in my purse carelessly.

"Guys we need to meet up on my mom's house tomorrow," I announced but they seem to never hear me.

I grew aggressive from this point.I have anger issues towards men but I can't even avoid these emotion even with the boys.They knew that when my anger pulls out,it means that I am sure.

I slammed my hands on the table,which makes them quiet down.They all leave there conversation and straightens there back.

I sighed and mumbled a 'sorry'.They all nod there head as if saying 'it's alright'.

"We need to meet tomorrow at mom's house straight 2:30," It's better to be early than to be on time.It's Cassidy's parents,they say 'sign of respect is to be wise on time and be early'.

They all nod and returned to there conversation quietly,they didn't ask questions since they know I still need to cool my mind off.
