Chapter Four - Ruby Cummings Researching Lodrarde

Ruby is in the midst of researching Wentruziqua because that is the only thing she knows about Lodrarde, but then a little flicker in the back of her mind jogs her memory. Ruby had remembered a tale her great grandpa had told her when she was 7 years old.

"There is an ancient creature by the name of Wentruziqua. This creature is like no other, it has the ability to tame lightness and darkness. There are two other creatures by the names of Razinloq and Zapquonrare. These two creatures are said to be as strong as each other, but Wentruziqua can still tame them. In fact apparently if Wentruziqua confronts them their powers become completely obsolete. Just remember Wentruziqua, no matter what happens, will, keep our earth in tact."

Ruby figured that it would be much wiser to research these two creatures before researching the creature she already knows so much about. Considering there were no Internet sources on the three legendary creatures, all Ruby could research with were some prehistoric books. There were two of these books, and luckily they were rather insightful.

Ruby was reading the second book when she stumbled across a vital peice of information.

"Razinloq will appear on Lodrarde Island only in light and Zapquonrare will appear only in darkness"

This is a worrying piece of information for Ruby when she took into consideration that using a torch could mess up the stability in the appearances of Zapquonrare and Raziloq.
