Sammy wakes up to a soft light.No ones in the tent and there's was a rotten smell.She walks outside as gasps.Zoe Jake and James were hanging on a tree brach.Zoe and Jake were dead and rotten.James was still hanging but some how alive.He smiles at her.No matter what I'll love you he says before blood starts pouring down out of his mouth.A note hung next to Zoe's head in her blood was written it because of you.She feels like she was falling into depth of darkness.She lands in taterus.Her shirt was red in blood were that emposai bit her.She felt rakes across her and she feel to her knees.Right as the touch the ground her eyes snap open.It was a dream she says in her head as nausea swam over her.James arms were open as if he was holding her but she rolled out.She wearily gets up,goes outside to the side of the tent and throws up.Everything she ate just fell out and in no time James was by her holding her hair back.She leans back in his arm as ugly sobs rake her body.Jake ran outside with Zoe both looking concerned.James rocked back and forth speaking softly in her hair.Ur alive she whispered ur all alive.James James what's going on Zoe said as she falls to her knees next to Sammy.James starts to explain but Sammy was no longer listening.The memories flash in her mind as she moves closer to James.Suddenly she falls out of James lap with her hands around her ears.They had started ringing a sharp tone and her head felt like a knife was in it moving in deeper.Her breathing became heavy as she clutches her head.Make it stop she sobbed pls pls it hurts it hurts. Her eyes sight became a blinding light that went in and out with splats of red that looked like blood.She gives a small scream.James had silently started crying to.Jake was trying to hold back his tears while holding James hand.Zoe ran to her and rapped her arms around her.Sammy it's ok it's fine.She repeats that as the flashing lights calm down.She takes a deep breath someone's dead she says laying on Zoe's shoulder.How do you know Jake asks.All of..that it it was..I don't know I just know someone's dead.Its ok Sammy James said helping her stand.Lets go back home we need to figure this out.Zoe and jake quickly gather there stuff and get in the car.Sammy held on to James like he was gunna disappear any second.An hour in into the car trip Sammy finally said something.Why do y'all like me.Sammy wha-James started but didn't finish.Everyone who ever gets close to me ends up dyeing or tortured or something and still y'all stay why I'm a monster who kills without knowing and I'm nothing important.James had begun to cry he couldn't stand it anymore.He desperately glances at Zoe who's looking at her sister with pure sadness only a sister can feel.She nods and clambers into the back as james does the same into the front.Zoe kisses Sammy's head and held Her muttering to her as Sammy calms down.Jake takes James hand and glances at him.It will be fine I'll promise that she's a strong girl he says softly.I love you jake.I love you to big bro.They soon got to camp half blood as soon as it starts to rain.Dark clouds twisted together and thunder clapped.They help carry Sammy who still felt a little weak.Children Chiron said coming to them what's wrong.Before they could could say anything Sammy asks Did anyone die.Chiron looks down Ur friend Zara.Sammys face widened and looked as if he had been punched.H how.She..Refused to give information about u and was killed.Sammy felt nauseous and did the only thing that made sense to her right now.She ran.She tore away from everyone's grip and ran straight into the forest.James started following but was stopped by Chiron.Let her have a little time.They hear something fall and a blood curtailing scream full of anguish and sorrow with anger.James closes his eyes in pain.Zoes holding onto Jake as he to was on a bridge of tears.This is Samantha she was always so strong and happy didn't care what she felt just had to make sure that others were fine.This was slightly bigger than what's actually happening.Its all her emotions that she keeps in herself finally let lose.No one can be that strong forever.The ocean starts to churn into big waves.James tore away from Chirons grip and ran into the forest soon getting to the spot where Sammy was.Sammy Sammy pls pls calm down.She was on her knees her sword in the tree she cut.Her hair wet and so was her face.Slowly the ocean stopped same with rain but the dark clouds still loomed overhead.James picks up her sword goes to her and puts it on her neck changing it.It was complete silence just Sammy and James.Why do u love me.Sa-no James I want a straight answer u could have anyone there's many women prettier kinder and won't kill you if u get to close.James hugs her.Bc ur A modest B the most beautiful woman I've met(Sammy gives a small smile to this)and u Samantha Selina Jackson are not the reason for ppls death unless u point a knife at them and if you keep thinking these things I wi-Sammy presses her lips against his.It was a soft gentle kiss reassuring Sammy she is loved.Thank you James I love you.I love you to.I just..need some time.He nods kissing her forehead.I'll be at the edge of woods.He got up and left and Sammy sighs.So much in such little time.Hey Sammy and voice says.She spins around and sees her cousin Bianca standing there.Hi.I can u know let u.Sammy eyes widened pls.Bianca grabs a shovel and starts digging soon making a grave.She starts chanting and soon the ghost of Zara appeared.Bianca backs into the shadows as Sammy stared at Zara.Over the last few months they grew from friends to best friends to almost sisters.She smiles hey Sam.Zara I'm so sorry it's my fault.No no it isn't u got to understand Sammy the world doesn't revolve around u ppl make there own choices and mine were to keep u safe and u can't blame ur self for something that's not ur fault which is a flaw of u.U take responsibility for everyone's feelings and close urs and sometimes u don't even let ppl IN.Sammy looked down.Why why did u not tell him.Bc ur my friend Sammy and I'll never sell u out.I miss u Zara.I do to but pls Sammy don't stick on me.U remember that blinding white light thing that happened?sammy grimaces.Yeah.Thats my fault I drew a ancient rune that binded is together so when I died u felt pain.Zara glances down then back up.I have to go rennet Sammy what I said and,she stops and takes a deep breath,tell Daniel it's ok.Why can't you he'll love to talk to u.She shook her head no it would bring him pain and me more.Goodbye Sammy.And with that she was gone. Sammy realized how numb she was.She sat down leaning on the tree she just sat she couldn't do anything.She didn't cry though she was done with tears.Daniel was her boyfriend they were together before Zara realized she was a demigod.They were a tight couple.She rose up to her feet thinking of the many memories with Zara in them and softly laughs.Never again will she find someone like her.She walks out of the woods and sees that James was actually leaning on the tree.Not saying a word she goes to him and wraps her arms around his neck stuffing her face in his shirt.He stoke her hair and rubbed his hand up and down her back.Not moving she said We need to go to Daniel Zara wanted me to.He nodds but they both don't both.Sammy chuckles really we need to go she says pushing away.He grabs her hand.Sammy u do know u HAVE to tell ur parents right.No.....?Sammy he says in a sigh.If these dreams get worse then what are we going to do me Zoe and jake and do so much.Sammy sighs fine.He smiles with victory and she punches his arm.OW holy hera Sammy.That was for the smug look.Haha he said giving her a look.They walk to the Ares cabin and knock.A small 11 year old opened the door.She smiles sadly.Daniels on the beach.They jog over to the beach and see Daniel sitting there his dirty blond hair shining in the little sun and his black eyes swimming with tears.Sammys heart breaks when she sees him.She gets a little nudge from James and she sits next to him.Hey Daniel she says softly looking at his hands.He was playing with the necklace he had given Zara.Hi.How u doing.He hung his head how's anyone doing.Um I just talked to Zara.He looks at her with sad eyes.She uh told me to tell u it'll be alright.New tears were in his eyes as he looked down.U know a month from now was our anniversary he said with a small smile.7 years I was gunna propose he said bringing out a ring with a gold band and diamonds falling over the edges with a purple gem in the middle.He throws it into the sea and gets up.The funeral happening soon and walks away.She sighs and gets up going to James.He puts her arm around her.At least he didn't go on a killing streak.She looks him with a raised eyebrow and a small smirk.They both starts walking soon come into the middle of the camp and see her shawl.It was deep purple with a sliver cross word on top.Daniel comes forward with the torch.He lights it on fire putting Zara's necklace on it to.He takes a deep breath of the minty lavender scent as it floated in the air.Sammy held back tears.She was gunna be strong for Zara it's what she wants.She steps forward and kneels in front of the grave.A small sob escapes.I can't be strong Zara I can't.A soft wind came and wiped her tears.Of course u can she heard.Zara.Dont move on completely but don't cry I can't see u in pain nor Dan.Pls so I rest pls try smile if u hear my name not cry.Sammy nods softly.Promise me Sammy's your gunna laugh and smile tomorrow.Tomorrow Sammy whispers and the winds gone.She slowly backs up and falls against James wetting his shirt.Soon the funerals over and everyone trickles back except Daniel.Sammy walks and hugs hims.He barrys his face in his shoulder.I miss her.I do to but she doesn't want u to sad.He nods and walks to his cabin.She to starts to go taking James hand and not saying a word

There sort of my fault like Zara she said tracing the scars from underneath the thin shirt.Sammy look at me.She looks at his mischievous eyes that usually have gleam but was gone for now.None I repeat none of anything that has happened and is happening is ur fault ur a good thing that bad things have happened to ok.She nods and gives a small smile.A small gleam returned to his eyes.He kisses her forehead get some sleep I'll be next door if u need anything alright.She nods thanks James.He smiles and walks next door shutting it.As she lies down Zoe come in a bends down next to her brushing brushing Sammy's hairs out of her face.Hey u feeling better.I promised Zara that I wouldn't stick on her Omsk that's what I'll do....tomorrow.Zoe smiles.Sammy looks at Zoe's wrist and sees a bracelet.She fingers it.When did u get it?it was a gold thin chain with on charm.It was a small jar with a cork with a small cloud inside.It was a storm in the jar right now.A few weeks ago from jake it's a cloud from Olympus and represents my bid moods like saddens happiness anger.Whats right now.Pain I can't see u like this.Im fine I promise I just need tonight to my self.All of a sudden James barges into to room.Jake was behind him taking deep breaths.I told him u needed to sleep but he wouldn't.Whats wrong Sammy said sitting up.U need to tell ur parents.She sinks back.Sammy if we don't do it now when else.She sighs ok fine.Lets go.U to no making out Sammy's says pulling her jacket up.Zoe throws her shoe at her as jake snickers.They walk out hand in hand Sammy pondering how she would explain.To fast they arrived James kissed her forehead it'll be all right I'll be right there.She nods and opens the door and gets a face full of blond hair.Oh honey are u alright annabeth said taking Sammy's face in her hands.Let her breath wise girl Percy said coming up behind her.Dad Sammy's said hugging him.Hey there little Pearl.Um i have to tell y'all something she said nervously looking at James.He nods and she takes a deep breath.I uh think u should sit.They sit down with a nervous faces.She takes a deep breath and starts to explain James coming up behind her taking her hand.She explained everything all the things came spilling out.A look of anger sadness and pain sat on her parents faces.Sammy finishes and looks at her parents.Percy gets up and hugs Sammy she barriers her face into his chest.Annabeth gets up and strokes her hair.Im srry you have to see all that Sammy but there's probably no way to get rid of it.I I know.Percy kisses her head.If you need to rant to anyone,we're here annabeth said finishing Percy sentence.With that Sammy and James walk out of the cabin James smiles at her.Dont say it Sammy said with a smirk.They reach there cabin James kisses her cheek and slips into his cabin.Sammys walks in and see Zoe already sleeping.Sammy lays down and drifts to a somehow dreamless sleep

Sammy wakes up at a small taping on her window and sees James standing outside with a grin.He has a bee head and his glasses on crooked.She glances at her clock.3 AM.She glances at James again.He nods and she sighs.She grabs a jacket and walks out.There better be good reason grace.I have a brilliant reason looking like a happy kid he grabs her hand and runs into the forest soon stopping.Climb this tree.What?!sammy whisper yelled.Pls Sammy James said with a sad stare.Fine as she begins to climb suddenly getting raised into the air my the waist.U couldn't have done this sooner.U wanna get hit by a branch.Valid point.They reach the top of the tree where it flattened out sort of like a table.She was able to stand steady on it.Dont look up.Sammy raises a eyebrow but does as she's told.Ready set go.She looks up and gasps.The sky has become a deep purple with stars splattered all over the sky shooting starts shined on the sky to.Look all the way up.She does a sees a crossword in the sky with small words.Hey Sammy.Her mouth fell open h how.He shrugs smugly.I have my ways.He wraps his arm around her waist resting his forehead against hers.Thank you James she whispers.He smirks any time and closes the gap in between them.What felt like minutes but was probably longer they broke.Now I think we should go before we get eaten.She laughs then quickly covers her mouth.They both jump of the tree with James helping and controlling the winds.They sneak into Sammy's cabin in small fits of laughter.U to are cute but be cute quieter Zoe mumbled.Sammy lays down pulling James down next to her.If your parents see me.I have a reason in mind.He laughs taking his glasses of ur sneaky Samantha Jackson.I know.She looks at James eyes which were a cobalt blue but with the moon ray become a soft ocean blue.His eyes met hers as They fluttered shut.Goodnight Sammy I'll be here when u wake up and with that they both fell asleep
