The Intruder

Nick's POV:

I heard the sound of the keys opening the door and someone walking in.

"Hey baby, how was it?" I shouted, still concentrating on my basketball game.

Iggy walked in with a few bags in her hand. She put them down on the armchair and layed next to me, placing her feet on my lap. "Im exhausted"

"I noticed" i paused the game and rubbed her thighs and stomach. "You cant be on your feet all the time, you need to rest. Its good for the baby" i explained.

"I know but i needed some clothes" she turned to the side and fell asleep.

"I missed you" i gave her a kiss on the cheek, lifted her legs up and stood up. "I'll make lunch today" i whispered and walked into the kitchen.

I looked in the fridge, cupboards and the freezer. I'll make her some chicken soup, she likes that.

(1 hour later)

Everythings done and tidy. The soup is warm and tastes lovely.

I walked towards iggy and shook her hand gently, "lunch is on the table princess" i whispered as i kissed her cheek.

"Okay i'll be over in a minute babes" she smiled and started waking up. I sat by the table and started eating my portion. Then Iggy came over and did the same. "Mmm this is beautiful" she pleaded.

"Aww thanks! I worked hard on it hahaha and i didnt burn the kitchen down so its all okay" i joked, "i tried to call you earlier but it kept saying the caller was busy...?"

"Oh yeah sorry, my manager rang about... Erm, my health. If im doing good and stuff, thats all" she answered. A bit weird because Steven doesnt do that, normally. But okay.

Iggy's POV:

I think hes started to be a little suspicious. I did ring Bruce for a little bit, but c'mon hes only a friend of mine. A really handsome friend actually...

"So what did you do without me? Did you miss me?" I asked, sipping on my soup.

"Just usual things, xbox and basketball. It was rather quiet so i guess so" he got up, took his bowl and started to wash up. "But i kinda liked that quiet time" he teased.

"Oh really" i raised my eyebrow, "no more kisses for you then" i teased, as i got up and swiped my hand on his back gently.

Then i went to sit down. As i sat down i got a text from Bruce:

Hey Iggy! Nice meeting you today, what do you think about a nice dinner tomorrow at 'le petite café' in town? Just me and you?x x x

I smiled so hard at this messege! He wants to meet me again, of course i'll say yes! But what will i say to Nick? Oh i'll just think of something. I mean, its only a little friendly dinner. It wont do any harm.

"Nick baby" i shouted

"Oh so you're calling me baby now?" He teased, as he came and leaned on the wall.

"Kourtney invited me for dinner with her tomorrow, so im just informing you about it" i finally made up an excuse. He believed me.

"Okay babes, do you need a lift there?" He asked.

Oh no i havent thaught about that! Shitt... "Ermm no she's gonna pick me up and then head straight to the restaurant" at least its believeable.

"Okay no worries" he went back to finish doing the washing up.

Phew! It worked, i'll just get a taxi tomorrow. He wont even notice.

I text Bruce saying:

Heyyaa of course! Tomorrow at 1? I loved meeting you today, you seem a really nice guy. Hoping to get to know you better soon xoxo

I grinned when i wrote it, I really cant wait for tomorrow. Just a friendly dinner... Me and... Him.
