Annabeth
I smooth the shimmering folds of my Greek-style dress and take a deep breath, closing my eyes. Piper comes up to me with my bouquet of roses, white water lilies, and olive leaves, and straightens my silver headband."Nervous?" She asks.
"Yeah. I keep overthinking everything. What if Sadie's protection spells don't work and some monster crashes in? I mean, that's highly unlikely considering she's a powerful magician. Plus, we're on Olympus. Monsters can't break into a temple, can they?" I fret, fiddling with my owl earrings and pendant.
"Calm down, everything will go wonderfully, I promise. Sadie's been fortifying everything with her N-dah spells, so nothing can get in." She must be using her charmspeak, because I immediately feel reassured. Thank the gods for friends with powers.
"Here's your bouquet - I love the roses, by the way. How on Gaea's earth did you get aqua roses?"
"Oh, Demeter grew them especially for today. I couldn't decide what flowers I wanted, because none of them seemed right."
"They're perfect." She grins and walks over to where Jason is waiting with my other bridesmaids and Percy's groomsmen. They're all wearing a mix of silver and aqua, but the girls each picked their own dress, so everyone's is in their own style. The girls all carry bouquets of white roses and olive leaves, and the guys all have gray suits with aqua or silver ties.
My dad finishes talking with Hymenaios, the god of marriage celebrations. It's a huge honor to have him marry us, in Athena's temple on Olympus, no less. He leaves to go find Percy, and Dad walks over to me.
"You look so beautiful. I just can't believe my daughter is getting married." He says, with tears in his eyes.
"Thanks, Dad, I can't believe it either, but I couldn't be happier." And I couldn't. As the music starts and Frank and Hazel, Leo and Calypso, and Piper and Jason start their walk down the aisle, my heart feels like it will take to the sky with the pegasi from happiness. I stand before the doors with my hand on my dad's arm, waiting for the change that will signal the doors to open, and me to begin the walk that will change my life forever.

Percy
Oh, gods. This is really happening.
I walk slowly up the aisle beside Hymenaios (seriously, these gods need more pronounceable names) toward the dais at the front of the temple. When we get there, I stand at the foot of the stairs, and Hym (I'm just gonna call him Hym) stands at the top. I'm just happy his torch is burning and he's wearing white, because I do not want a repeat of Orpheus's story.
I scan the faces looking at me, and I feel reassured by the familiarity. Of course there are a couple gods here- Poseidon, Athena, Hera, Zeus, Apollo, even Artemis, and you know how she feels about weddings.
I see Grover, who's here with Juniper, his wife. Nico came with Will Solace - they've been dating for a couple years now. I see those Egyptian people, Carter and Sadie, with their girlfriend and boyfriend. They've been drawing weird glowing hieroglyphs everywhere that will hopefully keep out any monsters that this many gods and demigods will definitely attract. Oh, and there's Magnus with his - huh, wonder what Alex is today. Well, Magnus is here with his Alex. And he brought the Valkyrie, Samirah, too. No Hearth and Blitz, though. Maybe Olympus is too Greek for them.
Oh, Hades, the doors are opening.
First I see Hazel and Frank, then Leo and Calypso, then our best man and maid of honor, Jason and Piper. When they reach the dais, they all walk up the steps to their spots. I can see tears in Hazel's eyes already, and Frank doesn't look too far off. Leo whispers something to Calypso, who elbows him. Then the music changes.
At my first sight of Annabeth, my heart nearly stops.
Poseidon's trident, she's beautiful.
She looks like a goddess in her high-waisted, flowing white dress and silver jewelry. She even has a silver headband that looks like olive leaves tucked into her pinned-up hair. Her eyes, more silver than grey now, meet mine, and I know that she is my forever. I would go to Tartarus and back for her. Again.
It seems to take forever, but finally she reaches me, and her father places her hand in mine. We walk up the stairs together and stand in front of Hymenaios, who addresses the people here to witness us.
"Gods and demigods, humans and others, we are gathered here today to witness the marriage of these two young people."
"Perseus Jackson, do you take Annabeth Chase to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward? Will you love and cherish her, comfort her, honor and keep her, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"
"Yes, I will."
"Annabeth Chase, do you take Perseus Jackson to be your husband, to have and to hold from this day forward? Will you love and cherish him, comfort him, honor and keep him, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, as long as you both shall live?"
"I will." She says, emphatically, and I let out the breath I didn't know I was holding and feel my face almost breaking in two from my grin.
We exchange rings, the silver band sliding onto her finger next to the matching engagement band with a pearl and a diamond on either side.
"Then by my power, I declare you husband and wi-"
Just then, the doors at the end of the hall rattle as something huge slams into them. Gold hieroglyphs blaze to life all around the room, activated by the presence of the monster. The doors rattle again, and everyone is on high alert, reaching for their assorted weapons.
Sadie stands up, draws her boomerang -sorry, wand- and points it at the doors, making the hieroglyphs glow brighter and the doors stop shaking...for the moment. We all look around anxiously, and sure enough, a giant pig flies past a window. The sow I fought in Manhattan - what was it's name again?
Sadie shrieks, "What in the Duat is that??"
Annabeth replies calmly, "Its called the Clazmonian Sow (Oh, so that's its name). Percy defeated it years ago in Manhattan, but it must have eventually re-formed from Tartarus. If your hieroglyphs hold, it should lose interest and leave soon."
Sadie sniffs, "Of course they'll hold." Carter rolls his eyes.
Annabeth is right. After a few minutes of wand pointing, hieroglyphs glowing, and really loud squealing in disappointment at not being able to reach the tasty (but explosive, in the gods' case) people inside, the giant flying pig leaves.
I grin at Annabeth. "Well, we can't say that was a surprise, considering the number of demigods from all different pantheon that're here."
She laughs, and turns us back to Hym.
"You were saying, before we were interrupted?"
He grins, "As I was saying, Annabeth Jackson, you are now husband and wife. Perseus, you may kiss the bride." He smiles at us, but I only have eyes for Annabeth.
"My Wise Girl," I whisper.
"Seaweed Brain," she breathes back, her eyes bright.
Our lips meet in a vow, a promise to each other, that we'll never leave. Never. No matter how many flying pigs we run into.

...So, what did you think? This is the first story like this I've ever written, so if you liked it, please vote and comment and say why. If you didn't like it, also, please comment why so I can improve. I am so nervous, heh. Now I know how other writers feel. The dress at the top is kind of how I imagine Annabeth's. Sorry for the terrible vows. Not sure what a wedding on Olympus in a temple, by a god would be like.
Also, any covers or anything would be amazing. Not sure how to make them myself. The one for this is a picture off Google that I edited a little and added text. If anyone could tell me where to make/get covers, it would be immensely appreciated!
If you're reading this, thank you so much for visiting my little book and I hoped you liked it, it means a lot to me that you're here. 😊💖
