You will not live without me

You torture me; bring me to life with those pure blue eyes.

You kept holding onto me, said you would never leave my side, but where are you now?

I travelled long distances for you, each time regretting, and each time feeling so low I cry until I am out of breath. It’s all for the sake of meeting again.

I want to forget, I want to leave you and run away, but I cannot do so.

For my heart grieves for your love once more.

Chapter 1: We meet again

“Bang!” A gun shouts as its victim is shot. A tall figure holds the gun and wears a blank expression across his face.

The victim falls but is still alive,

“Wait! Please don’t kill me! Ill give you anything you want,” he pleads, but the man with the gun is showing no emotion.

Now the man holds the gun directly towards their forehead as the victim begs for mercy.

“Rest in peace” he whispers gently as his finger slowly pulls the trigger, killing him in an instant as blood gushes out of his forehead.

I should’ve stopped it as I watched the tragedy unfold from above like a pigeon looking down on the world’s premature birth. The world is not perfect, for everything is left with a weakness and a reason.

As I lay down on the roofs surface I have a habit of staring at the murderer’s eyes, not because he killed someone, its because he’s special.

He just doesn’t know it yet.

I finally lean back, resting from analysing the colour of his eyes,

Blue.

The shades of blue from his eyes create a pool that is crystal clear and glimmers when the sunlight hits it. It makes me want to dive in and feel the coolness of the water.

I also notice that his black hair is highlighted with streaks of red, which resemble the colour of blood.

He has an 'unidentified gorgeousness', which also gives a bit of mystery about his family relations and background.

But I already know every single bit of him so nothings new to me, because I am an observer.

As he walks away from the bloody corpse he stops and listens to the sounds around him to check if anyone was watching, but it seemed like he heard nothing so he just places his gun in his long black jacket, slips his hands in the front of his jeans and creeps silently into the night.

He was striding slowly, so it was easy to follow him.

Even though my heart was beating furiously, I knew that the tiniest sound would blow my cover.

When tiptoeing across the roof I always have to be careful and not to take risks, so every time I go out to observe I wear my best free black dress and no shoes.

The quieter I become the less presence there will be.

As I try to remain calm walking across tall buildings, an enormous rock blocks my way as the man slips away from my grasp with each passing step. I decided that if I lose him now, he will certainly leave again and I will not let that happen.

So instead of moving the rock I decided to jump over it, which seemed a pretty good idea and it would of worked too.

If I didn’t decide to trip up and fall off the building…

“Oh fiddlesticks!” I squeaked, falling quite fast but feeling quite calm about it,

“I guess I have no choice”

As downwards was the only direction I could go I lifted my legs and was about to do a spin, but instead a great big set of arms got a hold of me and gently let me down on solid ground.

I didn’t look up to see who it was because I didn’t want to know and I knew very well that that person was in my way of some personal business I had to take care of, also I had been following that guy for about a week and this is what some stranger does to repay me?

“Hey! What’s the big idea?” I snapped, jumping out of his arms and facing the opposite direction so I didn’t have to see the scum’s face.

“Why did you have to try and save me for? I lost him all because of you!”

For a moment everything went quiet, then soon after, a sound suddenly escaped from his lips.

“You… Fell…” he whispered, the voice was clear and it was also familiar. I was so curious to see, but the chances of it being the man before were very slim. But I also didn’t want to seem childish so as I turned around I thought of apologising and saying thank you.

In the end I didn’t get to say it because of a pair of bright blue eyes mysteriously gazing upon me.

“If you do not leave here soon… you will get killed” lightly he holds the gun from his jacket pocket, using it as a threat to make me scared and run away like a coward, it doesn’t work though.

Soon, instead of shaking from fear I shake with giggles, I find it so hilarious I start to laugh uncontrollably and hit his back so hard that he wobbles slightly.

For a minute he’s a bit confused, then he weakly smiles which also makes him surprised as he places his hand across his mouth as if he was trying to suppress his emotions.

“I will not die, because no one in the world can kill me, they have all tried but none have succeeded” I replied,

“And basically if I die you will die too, but still me dieing is impossible unless you killed yourself, which I will not allow you to do, so you better give up already”

The words from my mouth kept on flowing out and I wandered why?

Why is it that I have to keep finding and following him?

Why is it that I will always have to make him remember me?

Why? Why? WHY?

“You’re lying!” he roared, as he held out his gun towards me,

“I am not lying, it is the truth…”

“Shut up!”

He holds his gun so tightly it looks like he is stiff as a board, it was easy to see that his calm composure was being ripped apart as I kept on smiling at him.

“Whatever you say,” I giggled, as he tries to slowly pull the trigger but hesitates as he reminds himself about what I said.

He finally pulls the trigger and a bullet comes rushing out, aiming for my head the bullet hits me but it misses too as I morph into smoke and I disappear from his sight.

“You can not live with out me and I will always find you. We are different from the world, more different than you can imagine, because…

…We are special”
