My life seems simple right...wrong, see I'm not exactly human I live off blood but I've traded human blood for animal blood. If you haven't guessed yet...I'm a vampire and I was adopted into a loving family of other vampires and we made the most of using animal blood rather then human blood. So although we're vampires, we live in the town of Mississippi and we try to blend in with the town folk. So me and my four siblings go to the local high school and our father works at the small town hospital and our mother stays home and looks after the house and everyone else.
So my names Lila Jas Scullen and I have a mum (Brianna Scullen) dad (Jase Scullen) brother (Declan Scullen) sister (Layla Scullen) brother (Dylan Scullen) and sister (Lacy Scullen), that's my adopted family - see Dr Jase Scullen and his wife Brianna Scullen couldn't have kids so they adopted Declan and Layla first and then soon after Dylan and Lacy joined them and then of course after that I joined them. so we own our own house surrounded by forest trees because we like our privacy, we each drive fast cars - only because we're driven to drive with speed and it's fun. Other then that we made a treaty with the wolf pack down on the reservation that we wouldn't hunt on their lands or step foot on their lands as long as they kept what we were to themselves we were both safe from each other. As for that it's like any other day and I'm getting ready for school, I walk into my walk in closet full of expensive designer clothes as Lacy doesn't like anyone looking cheap - so she makes sure everyone looks their best which I love about her.
I'm guessing your wondering why all three girls names start with L and the boys names both start with D well our adopted parents were gonna name their kids Layla and Lacy along with Declan and Dylan and I guess because they couldn't they gave the names to them and for me well my name was already Lila and it fit perfectly. Anyway I searched through all my clothes and decided to wear a pair of designer jeans with a one shoulder strap top and my leather hooded jacket with my black and red heels. After getting dressed I brushed and styled my hair and took one last look in the mirror before grabbing my bag and keys and walked out of my room as Lacy joined beside me. With that we joined the others downstairs and left for school. Once at school, we walked in and everyone looked but we were use to it by now and didn't take much notice of it.
Meanwhile that was going on my twin and I were arriving in Mississippi to visit our cousin Ashley and her family, for the holidays. As the plane landed we got off and collected our stuff and found our cousin and her family waiting for us. After that we left for their place and once there we were shown to our rooms and left to settle in. With that we spent the rest of the day with Ashley who took us on a tour of the town.
Anyway my names Ayla Jade Ashford but my friends call me Aj and I have a twin brother and his names Jai Jay Ashford but we call him Jj for short. So we're visiting our cousins only to find out that our parents are making us stay here for the rest of our high school years, so we finished the rest of our year there where we were told about the Scullen family and as I looked at my brother I knew he was head over heels for the youngest of them all.
So as we got on and the new year began, it was a normal day at school and I was walking to the cafeteria with my friends, when one of the Scullen kids brushed past me and it sent a shiver through my body and then I had a sudden sick feeling in my stomach. With that I split from my friends and instead of heading to the office I took off into the forest behind the school, where I dumped my school stuff and suddenly a very painful cracking sound came from my body and then the next thing I knew I was standing on all fours. After that I bolted off in some direction and when I breathed in I could smell the ocean and then a voice spoke in my head and I stopped and looked around me. as I looked me eyes closed in on another wolf and then the voice spoke again and it said 'I don't mean to harm you.. trust me!' I thought back and said 'ok, who are you?' 'I'm the wolf in front of you.. are you new?' 'I gathered that and yes I guess..' 'well don't be scared but I'm Alpha and I kinda have to order you to shift back!' 'really how nice of you!'. with that I backed up and shifted back and surprised myself when I was fully dressed and then stepped forward and said "happy Alpha" he went behind a tree and shifted back and dressed and then came back and said "how did you do that?" confusion crossed my face before I replied "how did I do what?" he said "shift back and be fully dressed..?" I smiled and said "probably because I can do this.." and with that formed a fire ball in my hand and then made it disappear.
