I checked to see who it was from since I rarely get those; it was from Dylan Cauldwin, a guy from my school.
"Nice picture" it said along with one of my most embarrassing photos.
This guy is either blind or playing a prank on me.
"Thanks" I replied.
This reply changed EVERYTHING.

Again! I opened it and saw something I never thought I'd see, "Do you wanna hang out Saturday? I've seen you around school and I think you'd be fun to hang out with."
"Sure!" I replied. I have a bad feeling about this, but a wise person once told me to live in the present because the future is based on that."Let's meet up at the John West Mall @ 6PM" he sent.
"Sounds fun! :)" I answered.
We texted each other for the rest of the week, so we'd know each other better by Saturday.
~Saturday Night~
Dylan and I met up at the John West Mall. We decided to just window shop and do dares and random stuff of that sort. At one point, Dylan dared me to take some embarrassingly funny pictures with him in the photo booth, this is where things got interesting; for one of the photos he put his arm around my waist and leaned towards me as if he were going to kiss me which caused my heart to race and my face to flare up.
The screen lit up signifying that the picture was taken, which made me rush out of the booth. I ran off to one of my favorite stores and hid in one of the fitting rooms. Dylan had been texting me trying to find me, but I wouldn't answer him. He eventually found me, sat outside of my fitting room for a while, and managed to coaxed me out before the mall closed.
"I'm sorry if what I did back in the photo booth was too much for you...I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable." Dylan replied apologetically. I just ignored him for now.
"Let's head to the John West Public Library?" Dylan suggested. I agreed and we headed off. When we got there, it was closed, so we headed to the park nearby. I found a spot under the clear starry sky, while Dylan got two hot chocolates from the coffee stand. When he found me he handed me my drink and sat down slowly, watching me drink.
"Can I lay on your shoulder?" Dylan suddenly asked. I blushed and nodded, allowing him to move closer and lay on me. "I'm going to be honest...I really like you." Dylan spoke after a while. I blushed and turned toward Dylan, kissed him on the cheek and said, "I really like you too, Dylan, and I had fun today." He smiled and closed his eyes dozing off.
'Why was I so worried before...this day has been one of the best so far!' I thought.
