6. Universes

Two days passed since Xeno and the others where brought to what looks like a floating arena that was once a ancient city now its just a pile of ruble and building ruins, Xeno sits on the spectators platform far away from the arena but not as far because the arena is in flying distance. Xeno looks at the arena as he sees Linux and the big guy from before and six other figures as Linux is talking to them and pointing at different objects, Lyria walks next to Xeno and sits next to him, "What are you doing Xeno?" Lyria asks, "I am just memorising the layout of the arena, for you know just in case." Xeno says sitting with his arms crossed, "Who is that guy down there with those, things?" Xeno asks, Lyria looks down at the arena, "That big guy is Gorn, and his six minions. They are from universe 5, apparently he is the bad guy from that universe." Lyria says with her hands on her knees, "He is actually evil? I thought only hero's and protectors are allowed in this fight." Xeno says looking at Lyria, "True, but everyone has a history here. Gorn became evil because the hero's in his world where the actual villains, to them it was all about personal gain." Lyria says, "And the others?" Xeno asks, "Well there is universe 6. They are very secretive but I only managed to talk to one person, Hera. She is only 12 but she said she fought a lot of people and won. Universe 20 is another story, all seven of them are related to each other one way or another but what is interesting is that they all fight as one, as a team no one fights alone." Lyria says, "By the sound of it you only know as much as we do. What about you Lyria?" Xeno asks, Lyria froze looking at Xeno, "What about me?" Lyria asks, "What is your story then? Seeing everyone has different back stories." Xeno says looking at Lyria. Lyria looks down as she gets a sad look on her face, "I am from universe 13, a war driven planet. There was a war in our universe as long as I could remember, when the war ended only me, Dorian and our elder where the only ones left alive in the whole universe. Dorian was born and raised in the front lines of the war, the elder knows the universe before and after war." Lyria says, "And what about you? What is your back story?" Xeno asks, "I was born during a raid of our town, the attackers kidnapped me and raised me to fight for them but before that I was used as a slave. After killing my master they made me a soldier, Dorian and I were kinda enemies till we learned that we where only born to fight in the war. So we formed a rebellion, just me and Dorian." Lyria says. Xeno looks up at the stars, "Well your history sounds better then mine." Xeno says smiling, "What do you mean? I was a slave. How can that be an improvement to what you had?" Lyria asks, "Trigon 4, my home planet. It was a planet where saiyans and aliens could live together and have families, the saiyan law says no saiyan is allowed a refashion ship with none saiayans. So my mother Mina and a few others traveled to Trigon 4 and made it a home to those saiyans that have families with aliens. When I was born and raised all I knew was that planet, my friends, my family and my relatives where everyone on that planet, everyone knew everyone. Then one day the saiayans from planet Vegeta attacked my planet killing everyone. In the end they destroyed my planet killing everyone and I was set adrift in space till I came across earth. Makina and me are the last survivors of my planet." Xeno says, Lyria stares at Xeno with wide eyes, "My family and my friends taken away from in one single moment." Xeno says looking at a red star in the sky, Lyria looks at the same star, "Is that where Trigon 4 was?" Lyria asks, "Yeah, it looks better from here. On earth it is just a faint dot." Xeno says looking at the star. Makina and Skye walks up to them as Makina and Skye sit next to Xeno, "Star gazing again are we? It won't bring back Trigon 4 if you moup like that every time you see it." Makina says mocking Xeno, "I do not moup." Xeno says as he rubs Makina's nose with his tail, "Is that where we are going to fight?" Skye asks looking at the arena, "Yeah that's it." Xeno says, "It's big." Makina says looking at the arena, "It's bigger if you stand on it instead of sitting here looking at it." Unix says as she walks up behind them. "Where did you come from?" Xeno asks, "I was here the whole time really. So are you guys ready?" Unix asks, "Ready for what?" Makina asks, "Your preparation. The universes Linux and I chose to support get to learn tbe layout of the arena and maybe train a bit before each fight." Unix says pointing at Linux on the arena, "Oh is that what he is doing?" Lyria asks, "Yes, he is almost done so I think we should go find the others and head down to the arena." Unix says as she taps Xeno's shoulder, "Okay let's go, I want to show Skye some hideing places if it gets to rought." Xeno says as he stands up, Unix walks away as Xeno, Makina and Skye follow her, Lyria watches as Xeno walks away, "My history is a improvement towards his? He is all alone and yet he still fights for a better tomorrow. Xeno, I believe in you and I trust you." Lyria says to herself as she gets up and walks away, Xeno froze as he feels a strange feeling in his heart as he turns around seeing Lyria walk away, "Something wrong daddy?" Skye asks, "No no, I am fine just got a funny feeling." Xeno says as he follows Unix to where Chronoa was talking to Wisp as they find Rhon and Fortune on there way to Cerrabella. All 8 of them walk to a platform that takes them to the arena as Linux walks towards them with Gorn and his minions, "Good luck Unix. You will need it." Linux says as he gets on the platform with Gorn as it takes them back to the spectators platform. Unix stands in front of everyone with her hands behind her back, "Well everyone welcome to the arena, be sure to get familiar with the layout because in a few hours you will be fighting here 7 on 7 till one of you are left and will move on." Unix says, "Do we know who we are fighting first?" Rhon asks, "If my sources are correct you will be fighting universe 20 first." Unix says, everyone looks around looking at each other, "What are they like?" Fortune asks, "Martin, Leo, Hope, Dike, Hide, Carol and Zeth. These are the seven you will be fighting first, they tend to fight as a team. If you fight one of them alone all seven will take you on all at ones so its best to separate them or take them all on st once." Unix says, "Who should we look out for?" Cerrabella asks, "Carol and Zeth are twins brother and sister, they will separate from the main group and will fight alone if need be. Hope is trouble, Xeno he is your problem." Unix says, "Why is he my problem?" Xeno asks, "He is a god like you. But he is human." Unix says crossing her arms. Everyone stares wide eyes at Unix, "What kind of god is he?" Rhon asks, "Hope is the god of life. If he gets a chance he will heal his allies. So Xeno you need to show him the difference between life and death is." Unix says with a smirk, "Wait we aren't allowed to kill anyone." Xeno says, "That's not what I meant idiot. I mean beat him to a pulp." Unix says, "And who should handle the twins?" Makina asks, "You Makina and Cerrabella." Unix says, "Why us? I get why you would choose me but why Makina?" Cerrabella asks, "What's that supposed to mean?" Makina asks, "Okay okay calm down, Cerrabea I chose you because your fast and Zeth isn't the fastest one. Makina I chose you because of your playfull attitude, you can mess with Carol's head and tire her out." Unix says, Makina and Cerrabella stare at each other. "You said there will be some kind of lesson or training to." Chronoa says, "Well yes. I want Chronoa and Skye to team up for every fight." Unix says, "Yay!" Skye yells as she hugs Chronoa, "You two are still new to your Ki and if we put the two of you together then you learn faster." Unix says, "So what else should we know Unix?" Xeno asks, Unix looks around and st the spectators platform, "There is a probability that your fight might be rigged by Wisp, so keep your guard up at all times he will test you guys." Unix says in a whisper, "I knew it! I knew that little brat would do us in." Rhon says, "There might be a possibility that they might get something special to help them in there fight as well." Unix says crossing her arms. Xeno looks at Unix and then at the others, "You think we can take them? After all you are our support." Xeno says, Unix nods her head as she looks at Xeno, "Yes, you will be able to handle them, they are sloppy even with godly aid. I believe you will be able to beat them." Unix smiles. Rhon, Fortune, Chronoa and the others smile hearing Unix say that, "And you Xeno, Hope is tough but I believe in you." Unix says, Xeno froze again as he gets a strange feeling in his chest like before, "You okay Xeno? You froze up for a while." Fortune says, "No am okay just tired I guess." Xeno says, Unix looks at Xeno thinking about what she said and his reaction, "Hmmm, there is something strange about how he reacted when I told him I believe in him. This might get interesting." Unix said to herself, "Okay then so we are ready for the first fight?" Unix asks as everyone nods. On the spectators platform Wisp and Linux watch as Unix talks to the others, "What do you think will happen? They seem determined." Linux says, "Nothing to worry about, the bracelets I gave universe 20 will make sure universe 11 doesn't make it far." Wisp says.
