I couldn't believe my eyes. I raced over to where they were standing.
"A NightWing stabbed her in the wing". Ruby sounded distraught.
"Is she ok?" I asked, bending over to examine Starchaser.
I looked over my shoulder to see the rest of my winglet gathered beside me.
"I think it's only her wing" Ripple said, leaving the words I hope unsaid.
"Everyone will please return to Jade Mountain" It was Headmaster Wave.
Together we lifted up Starchaser and flew her back to Jade mountain.
