one of the most anticipated events that occurs at the end of the year, where the most popular idol groups and singers are invited to perform at this exciting event.

as people all over the world celebrate the upcoming new year with their friends and families, idols celebrate their new year on the mbc gayo stage with each other.

although many idols are a bit saddened by the fact that they cant celebrate the new year with their families, the idols have each other and their fans. they are grateful to celebrate with their group members who are practically their family, and with other idol groups whom they are very close friends with, and especially, the people who have always loved and supported them, their fans..

this event marks the end of this year and the beginning of a new one..

the hyungs and i were on stage preparing for the live performance of our 'perfect man' cover, and unfortunately, namjoon hyung was unable to be with us as he was currently healing from an injury that he got a few days earlier.

we were all messing around on stage, and as i was laughing, i then looked to my left, and my smile instantly disappeared from my face. i quickly faced forward to the fans who were sitting and watching us.

i felt my heart hammering in my chest, and i felt butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

she was sitting in the very first row of the idol section with her member joy, and i do not know why, but i was starting to feel nervous.. im used to performing in front of her and other idols..

but what the hell.. 

i told myself that i should just forget about her since she's just another idol to me but..

why am i feeling this way..??

yeri's pov

sooyoung unnie and i were sitting in the front row of the idol section to watch some of the performances, and by the time we sat down, we surprisingly found out that bts sunbaenims were next to perform.

but hey don't think that i was the one who dragged sooyoung unnie with me to watch their performance, it was actually unnie who convinced me to go watch them with her.

sooyoung unnie was a big fan of bts sunbaenims, and even though i was a fan of them too, i didn't outwardly show my appreciation for them as much as she does. sooyoung unnie was actually friends with one of the members who was named v, and i think that's why she always showed her appreciation for them since she had a friend from their group.

from the other side of the stage, i could see bts sunbaenims going up the stairs to go on stage. i immediately felt excited once i saw them, and i couldn't wait to see them perform..

until I saw the last member of the group to come up on stage..
