GUESS WHO DIDN'T MAKE STUDENT COUNCIL! THIS GIRL!

------------

Christen POV

------------

I rolled over onto my side and allowed my eyes to slowly flutter open. What I saw, I didn't expect.

A wild Delia had climbed through the open window, and was now grazing in front of my bed. And by that I mean Delia had snuck in my window and was now watching me sleep.

"What the hell." I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and looked at her strangely.

"Hey Christen." She smiled and patted my head like I was a dog.

"Why are you here?" I groaned and rolled back over, only to have Delia climb over me, step on my side, and lay in front of me in my bed.

"I couldn't sleep, so I snuck in and waited for you to wake up. I was thinking about what you said last night, and-"

"What did I say last night?"

"About Harry."

"Oh."

"Does he really... like," Delia thought about her wording for a moment, "like me?" Skilled sentence structure there, see? This is why we're friends.

"Well, Lou and him are pretty much the closest in the bunch, so what he says goes. I'm going off of the Sass Master's information." I told her, sitting up and pushing the blond hair from my eyesight.

"Okay." Delia pushed herself off the bed and made her way to my door. "I'm just going to help myself to your food." She left the door open as she left.

"Shut the door!" I waited for a response that never came. I jumped out of my bed and ran down the steps after Delia.

I watched her as I sneaked up to her. She was hunched over, preparing what I'm guessing is tunafish. I jumped into her back and screamed "This is what happens when you leave my door open!" and swayed my weight back and forth.

Eventually, Delia fell over, leaving me to hit my head on the kitchen counter. I sat up and rubbed the back if my head.

"The heck?" I shouted at her.

"Hey, you jumped on me." She shrugged and continued preparing the tuna. I rolled my eyes and went to my room to get dressed. We ate the tuna in awkward silence, because what else is Delia besides awkward? Also because tuna wasn't exactly the ideal breakfast, but I'm not complaining. Delia scarfed down the rest if her sandwich as soon as her phone rang and answered without checking the caller ID. She clicked speaker immediately.

"Hello?" She greeted the person on the other end of the call.

"Hey!" Harry's cheery voice took over the silence.

"How are you?" Delia glanced up at me, resting her head in her palm.

"Great, just finished our concert. We're going to New York next and then Pennsylvania." Harry noted Delia. "We have a three-day-break after our Pennsylvania concert, so we will come to New Jersey and see you guys." I almost squealed, but if it weren't for my mouth full of tuna, I would have.

"That- that's great. Wow, time passed fast. Harry... I really miss all of you guys. Ireland was the time of my life, and I absolutely cannot wait until you guys come here."

"Me either." You could hear the smile in his tone. I lightly bit my knuckles to hide my smile. You could tell Harry liked her, and it made me almost feel sick. "Delia, I need to tell you something."

Delia's smile faded and she chewed on her thumbnail a bit. She picked up her phone, took it off speaker and exited the room, leaving me in suspense.

Sorry it is late and short, I had to get some inspiration and I had to start my summer projects for my Honours English class next year. Hope you enjoy!
