"God damn it" I muttered groggily. "I hate how there's no free wifi! I don't wanna pay for this!" I whipped out my debit card, which I haven't a clue as to how much is on. I pull out my phone and open up the respective app, who shall not be named, And check the balance. I've only got 200$ to spend on this ship and wifi Is a tenth of that. But, at the same time... I really wanna watch some Youtube... "UGHHH!" I said, using the service phone to ask for someone to come down and set up the wifi. They're gonna make a killing off the wifi alone, and the food is one hell of an expensive commodity as well. I don't know why I bother buying Wifi, It'll only be three days, but that's still three days of a lack of that sweet sweet youtube content. Someone showed up and held out a debit machine. I stick my card in and enter my pin. 7-5-8-0. They Give me a slip of paper with the wifi password. An Idea sparks my mind. Why don't I just give this slip to my friends?? Saves them some money, makes them happy... oh right. Each room has a separate wifi code. This is annoying. "Why the hell is this absolutely-" The ship begins to churn onto Its side. We appear to have hit land, or water, on Grimulon. I look out the window and see large holes in the hull of the ship. I immediately grabbed two of my bags, leaving behind one. To remain this calm Is nothing short of a miracle. "Guess we'll have to see what I grabbed once we get off the boat." I rush towards the scrape, right near a stairwell Leading to the upper levels. I dash up the stairs, trying my best not to let the water get too close. I get to the second-to-top level, everyone already up, jumping into life pods and ejecting Into the ocean, Where They're Going to sit under for ten minutes before resubmerging, A built-in explosive deterrent. I glance over and See Matayis launch out of a pod, Straight into a chunk of some strange metal. His pod gets a huge dent in it, From which water floods in. Dear god, I never liked the kid, But I never expected to be so calm to see him die. I got into a pod, Trying not to hit anyone else or the same metal Piece. I launch myself out, Going Further out than the others, And trying to Move the pod away from the Ship as much as possible. The Ship has Hundreds of thousands of tons of explosive fuel on board, and to be too close when it detonates is highly lethal. I want to be at least a quarter mile away. I remember that there was an axe on board, which could help highly. I look through the hole, To see the fire axe already missing from Its glass case. I see Tayler running towards one of the few remaining Pods, Holding the fire axe. Smart girl, but the others are ahead of her. more likely to make it to the pod. Taylor kicked one of them in the knees, making them buckle over, as she jumped into a pod. My first thought was "Lookin' out for number one." My second thought was oh shit fire. I began to try and move the pod more furiously, attempting to make as much distance as possible. Tayler appears to be catching up, which means she must be good at piloting. Hell, if I weren't so good at swimming I would've joined her pod. I look over and see two boxes of liquigen, A substance which, when inhaled, will allow you to breathe underwater for ten minutes. Each box appears to contain four, which... that's an hour and twenty minutes of water breathing. I deployed the sinking mechanics, which would weigh me down until I touch the ground. And then, I began to drift off to sleep.
