Its been a few days since that incident and Kyungsoo's finally out of the hospital.
"Now that he's out should I start?" Jongin thought. He'd been planning on taking Kyungsoo on a date. But he wanted it to be uniq and special. But he didn't want to leave Kyungsoo alone when he was in that state and so he waited until Kyungsoo was discharged.
__________
"Hey Kyungsoo I'm gonna go out for a bit I'll be back before dinner!" Jongin said and ran out the door.
"O-" But it was too late he'd already left the house."K..." Kyungsoo finished.
This wasn't the first time Jongin has left the house in rush and Kyungsoo was starting to get suspicious.
And that wasn't the only thing that was weird. Jongin was always on his phone texting someone. and this made Kyungsoo curious as to who and why he was texting this person.
__________
-At night-
Kyungsoo had a plan. He was going to check the messages Jongin was sending. His password is quite simple so that wouldn't be a problem. It was the day He Confessed.
Jongin was finally fast asleep.
Kyungsoo slowly got off the bed trying not to wake up the other boy.
"Now where's that phone..." Kyungsoo thought while looking around the room. That's when he notices the phone on the desk."AHA!" He quickly took the phone not making any sound. "7412..." Kyungsoo mumbled the password.
It unlocked.
And the first thing that he saw was a picture of the two as the home screen and it made Kyungsoo smile slightly, something he'd been doing a lot recently after Jongin appeared into his life
He checked the messages and frowned immediately when he saw the texts.
Who was this SooJung girl? Was Jongin cheating on him? All those thoughts ran through Kyungsoo's head that he didn't even realize he was crying. "But why is his lock screen a picture of us then?" Kyungsoo thought confused...
Kyungsoo decided to forget what happened for now and ask Jongin tomorrow for the answers to the questions he's been dying to know.
_________
"Morning Kyungie," Jongin said yawning. "Morning" Kyungsoo said trying to put on his best smile. "I have something to show you get ready and we'll go at 9 pm," Jongin said excitedly. And before Kyungsoo could answer Jongin quickly ran out of the house. Kyungsoo sighed. "Might as well be happy for them Jongin did so much for me. He changed me. I can't make him upset even if he's cheating on me." Kyungsoo thought.
It was 8:30 so Kyungsoo decided to get ready for Jongin's "Surprise".
_________
The car ride wasn't that long it only took an hour or maybe less.
"Pleeeease Kyungie Just closes them for a bit" Jongin begged after arriving at their destinations. "Fine! I'll close them" Kyungsoo said rolling his eyes.
"Were here," Jongin said after walking up a few flights of stairs. Kyungsoo heard a door unlock and felt a cool breeze.
"You can open them now," Jongin said excitedly.
Kyungsoo slowly opened his eyes and frowned. They were on a rooftop and there was a table full of rose petals and food.
Jongin saw Kyungsoo's expression and instantly became worried. "Do you not like it?"
"Why are you doing this to me?" Kyungsoo whispered tears streaming down his face.
"What do y-" Jongin began, confused as to why Kyungsoo was crying.
"DO TRY AND ACT LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW" Kyungsoo screamed at Jongin.
"I know that you cheating on me with that SooJung girl. I read your f***cking text!" Kyungsoo yelled.
That's when Jongin realized what Kyungsoo was saying and burst into laughter.
"Whats so funny?" Kyungsoo asked confused.
"S-SooJung is m-my sister" Jongin breathed out still laughing.
"W-wait she's your...sister?" Kyungsoo said confused. Face turning red with embarrassment. "I'm such an idiot." Kyungsoo thought over and over again.
"So now that incident is over...lets have dinner," Jongin said smiling. He linked his hand with Kyungsoo's and they walked towards the table.
"Did you actually mean it when you said u didn't like it?" Jongin asked worriedly.
"No. It's beautiful! I was just upset thinking that it was for someone else." Kyungsoo said looking down at his plate.
"HAH My sister wished I did this for her," Jongin said still giggling at Kyungsoo's false accusation of Jongin cheating on him.
"Now I'm guessing you already read the text I sent to my sis but I'll say it out loud," Jongin said a bit disappointed that what he's going to say next isn't a surprise anymore.
"I know we've been together for such a short amount of time. But I know you don't like a lot of attention and I wanted this first date to be special. I don't think I asked you this properly when I confessed so I'll say it now." Jongin took a deep breath.
"I promise that I'll never hurt you or let anyone else hurt you. I promise to listen to all your problems and comfort you during your hardest days. So Do Kyungsoo Will you be my boyfriend?" Jongin said giving Kyungsoo a bouquet of Lilies. Kyungsoo's favorite flowers. And on those Lilies was a ring.
A promise ring.
Kyungsoo was already tearing up. He'd been through so much before. But Jongin. Kim Jongin helped him see that the world wasn't as dark of a place as Kyungsoo thought it was. He changed him. So it was obvious what the answer was going to be.
"YES!"
Kyungsoo hugged Jongin. And they shared a passionate kiss in the moonlight.
The end.
