"You gonna tell me whatever you couldn't tell me over he phone?" Tre asked me as I sat across from him.

"Please don't get loud." I said trying to prepare him. "Melody?" He said irritated.

"Okay okay" I put my hand up in defense. "It's Mom " I said quietly.

"Momma what?" He said getting closer to my mouth to hear me. "She sick Tre" I looked at him straight in his eyes.

He stared at me, I tried to read his facial expressions. "Did you hear what I said. Mom she sick. Breast cancer stage two." I repeated myself.

He put his hand up "I heard what you said." The room fell quiet again, and I put my head down.

He hit the table forcefully "Fuck" he yelled. My head popped up quickly "Tre" I stared at me.

He ran his hands down his face "Tre what the hell. You need to calm down" I shook my head at him.

"How am I supposed to calm down. You telling me mom is sick and I'm sitting in this hell hole no able to do nothing about it." He yelled.

"Why you yelling at me? I ain't ask mom to be sick" I yelled back. "I know. I'm sorry" he put his head down.

"I'm just upset at the whole situation" he shook his head. "I know and I'm sorry" I lifted his head.

I could see his eyes feeling with tears "I need to talk to her at least."

"Of course. I'll make that happen for you. I promise" he lifted his head and smiled.

"Now stop crying punk." I laughed. He wiped his tears "Ain't nobody crying." He smirked.

"Visiting hours are over." The officer said. "You know the drill." Tre smiled at me and held his hand out for us to do our handshake.

"Same time next week" I said during our handshake. He nodded his head. "Oh and Mel"

He caught my attention "Yeah?" I questioned. "You only get one mom. And we don't know how long ours will still be here. Don't take advantage of the opportunity you have. You can see mom and spend time with her. Do that. Cause I can't" he told me.

I nodded my head. "Love you squirt" he pulled me into a hug. "I love you too Trezy" I said as he kissed my forehead.

I pulled away as the officer made the Finally announcement for us to leave. I walked out of the facility and walked to my car.

"Answer" I told my car as my phone rang. "Melly Mel Mel" Ariana said as I answered the phone.

"Ari Ari Ar" I replied back in a laugh. "Where you at?" She asked. "Driving back from seeing Tre. Why? What you want?" I asked.

"You doing anything tonight?" She asked. I thought to myself "Mhmm nope. Why?"

"Well wolf asked me to go to this college party with him tonight."

I laughed "What wolf know about college?" I asked sarcastically.

"Well considering that he attends it. I think he knows a lot about it." I laughed to myself "You lying."
