Dear Danni,
Um hi! I'm your secret admirer, kinda. I mean, I'm really just a shy kid who has a crush on you and is too awkward to actually tell you in person. I think you're really cool and that you're really cute. Sorry if that seems weird.
Um, anyway. I hope you're having an amazing first day! Mines been going ok, I've had a few classes with my friends and my teachers this year seem nice. So that's good. How has your day been? Sorry if that's weird to ask, seeing as you'll probably crumple up this note and not bother to reply. You don't hav to reply if you don't want to, if you want to leave the note in the instrument room. Tape it to the back of the door, I'll find it.
So, um, I'll write to you tomorrow. So goodbye for now!
Yours truly, T
At the end of the day, Thomas headed to the band room to get ready for marching band. He waited for everyone to leave the band room, stalling putting together his sousaphone. Once everyone left, he looked behind the door. To his surprise, he found s note taped to it with the caption "To T" written in neat handwriting.
Thomas opened the note and read it.
Hi T!
My day went pretty good, my classes seem fun and plenty of my friends are in them. I'm assuming your in marching band as well. As you know, I'm in color guard. So what instrument do you play? Also, I would love to meet you in person. But only when you feel comfortable enough to.
Anyway, I would love to hear more about you! Like what's your favorite color? Or what grade are you in? Also something I'd love to know is, do we have any classes together? Anyway, stay hydrated during practice and I'll write to you tomorrow!
-Danni
Thomas blushed, he never expected Danni to write back! He was in complete and utter shock, but was excited to start writing his next note.
