A butterfly
You said I was,
But I know talk
When I hear it.
A star in the sky,
I stay away because
If into the world I walk,
I shall fear it.
Release me from your hands,
Let me hatch from this shell,
No longer in your land,
My own personal hell.
I hear the secret,
The words I dread.
You say you love me!
Ha! You fool!
If love lies beneath it,
Inside your thick head
Then let me see you shove me
Into a world without your rule.
I find my home again,
No longer in this shell,
I freed myself and then,
I left you in this hell.
