That night they all came to dinner in their masks. Tory could tell Vincent wasn't too happy about it, but he was being a dear and playing along. She decided it would be fun to irritate him, god, she loved having brothers to torcher.
"Zeus you have a..."
He didn't respond he was close enough across the table she kicked him to get his attention.
"Zeus!"
He turned to scowl at his sister.
"Is there something the matter your, Holiness?"
Jeremy groaned he needed to stop this before it started.
"My dear Aphrodite you must be a good girl to Zeus he is, after all, making the best out of being here among all us mortals."
That earned a scowl from the siblings. This was going to be a very long week if these two started at each other,
"Fine, I won't bother his holiness."
She turned to the woman who seemed to be on the receiving end of her brother's attention and why he didn't respond when she called him.
"Well, it seems that the god of the sky is taken with the beautiful Cinderella."
That earned her a scowl and a growl from her brother and her husband. Vincent couldn't deny that the beautiful Cinderella had captured his attention perhaps this weeks wasn't going to be so bad.
Victor who was feeling left out jumped into the silent sibling quarrel like only another sibling could do.
"I am the god Loki the trickster god. I would appreciate it Lady Aphrodite if you would refrain from jesting with the guests since Oden.."
He stopped and pointed to Tyler,
"Has deemed me the one who should challenge the order of things, not you sweet dear Aphrodite."
Tory was about ready to scream at her twin brother how dare he tell her to mind her own business. This was her party. She was about to say something, but her mother stepped in.
"I think it is time to go into the parlor and start the games."
She offered her hand to the gentleman sitting next to her.
"Florizel will you please escort me into the Parlor?"
William took Flicity's hand and led her and the other into the parlor for some games. Tory waited for Victor to pass her so she could catch a hold of him.
"May I have a word Loki?"
He smiled.
"Is something wrong sister dear or should I say, Aphrodite?"
"Victor your acting just like a child."
Just then Justin walked up behind them.
"I believe all of you are acting like children now let's go in and get along, shall we?"
Vincent laughed he was going to give those two a scolding if his Uncle hadn't. But what he didn't expect was to receive one of his own.
"And you my dear boy if you ruin this week for your mother, who is so excited about it I will personally thrash you. I want you to walk into the parlor with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Do you understand me?"
Vincent mumbled a yes sir as he walked off, he was almost all the way into the parlor when he realized that his Uncle and he were both Dukes why did he just take that from him? He turned around to say something, but he saw the look on Justin's face that told him to tread carefully.
