Homestuck Comes To Life

Tori's P.O.V.

I sat in History, listening to a lecture as I watched the rain gently knock against the window next to me. It was my last class of the day, so I'd get to go home soon. Hopefully Erick would be able to pick me up today. He worked as a technician. It was Friday too, almost the weekend.

I was excited to have some time off from High school. I love my friends and all, but I hate this place. The teachers don't listen, fights randomly start up, people bully others for attention, etc. I let out a sigh as I checked the time on my phone- 2:37. Two minutes left till I can get out of here.

I realized I had received a text from my brother.

E- Erik
T- Tori

E 'Hey. I'm waiting in front of the school. Hurry up when class ends.'

I decided to send a quick text.

T 'Hey. Just one min before I get out. See you soon bro. '

E ' Mk. We'll get something to eat before we head home.'

I smiled to myself a bit, the bell rung as I did. I stood up from my seat, putting on my jacket and backpack. My friend Chlo was beside me, zipping up her jacket as well. I hugged her and said my goodbye before fastwalking towards the nearest exit. I quickly located Erik's car and got in the passenger seat before closing the door and putting my backpack in the back. I buckled my seatbelt and smiled to my brother.

"Eager for food, are we?"

Erik asked, smirking at me. I just nodded as he started the engine and drove off the property.

"Where are we going?"

I asked, feeling my stomach grumble quietly.

"Hmmm....Depends. Fast food or Resturant?"

"Fast food! I'm starving and I want to get home soon."

Erik nodded to me and drove to the Burger King. We got some food from the drive through and returned home. As soon as Erik parked the car in the driveway and took out the key, I opened the door and grabbed my backpack from the back. I quickly shut the door after getting out and ran to the front door, holding it open for Erik. He smiled at me and got inside.

I followed him and closed and locked the door after me. Erik walked to the kitchen and sat the food on the table. I dropped my backpack off at the door for the time being and went to join my brother for food. He separated my food from his, then brought out the condiments. Ketchup and honey for me, horse radish for him.

Erik had gotten two sandwiches and curly fries. I had gotten one sandwich and curly fries. Curly fries were one of the foods we both loved. Erik got hot cheese for the curly fries. I remembered a web comic I had gotten into last month.

It was currently March. The web comic was called Homestuck. It was made by Andrew Hussie on MsPaint.
I had gotten to Act five already. I only had to finish Acts five and six.

"Hey Erik. Wanna read Homestuck with me? It's a really cool web comic that involves violence, death, different species, and the apocalypse."

The smile that lit up on my brother's face made me happy. I had a feeling he'd enjoy it.

"Sure. I'll grab my laptop, just give me a sec."

I nodded and grabbed my backpack from the living room. I walked upstairs to my room and set it next to the door. I looked around my room for nastolgic purposes.

My bed with red sheets and a ton of blankets and pillows sat in the corner. A tall bookshelf was in another corner, tons of books placed on it's shelves. A computer chair sat in front of a computer desk in front of a window. My laptop was in its black case on top of the desk. A sketchbook and a pencil next to it.

The closet was next to the computer desk. That's where I kept all my clothes and extra bed sheets. A fuzzy red rug sat in the muddle of the floor, covering the black floor. The walls were painted with red and black stripes.

I decided to go back down to the kitchen. Erik was sitting at the table, powering on his laptop and taking a bite of one if his sandwiches. I sat in a chair next to Erik and unwrapped my sandwich before taking a few bites.

I had half of it gone by the time Erik's laptop was on Chrome, ready for something to be typed in the search bar. He looked to me, and pointed with his thumb at the laptop. I wiped my hands clean with a napkin before getting up Homestuck and clicking Act 1 Prt1.

We ended up reading up to the last part of act four before Erik got bored of the kitchen and we went up to my room. It was now 7:55 pm. We sat on my bed and continued reading until we had finished Homestuck. It was now 10:43 pm and I was starting to get tired. I laid down in my place, eyes closed and asked Erik to turn off the light.

I heard a loud crash and immediately sat up, opening my eyes. Erik was on the floor, someone on top of him and his laptop beside me. I quickly grabbed the arm of the person on top of my brother and threw them onto the floor, away from us both. Their skin was smooth and gray. They were wearing a black shirt and pants.

I helped Erik up and checked to make sure he was ok. Which, thankfully, he was. I looked over to the person I had thrown on the floor to get a better look at them. What I saw kind of freaked me out.

Four horns, messy black hair, red and blue glasses. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was seeing right. He sat up and stared at me as I watched him. Sollux Captor, from Homestuck, was in my universe, my house, my room, sraring at me.

" This has to be a dream."

I hug Erik, not sure what to say or do. Sollux just watched us as I watched him. Erik eventually pulled away from me and turned around to look at Sollux.

"2o.....Where am II?"

"Uhm....I'm not sure if telling you would cause a paradox or anything....."

I say, sitting back down on my bed. I patted the space next to me for Sollux to join me, before moving Erik's laptop out of the way. Erik and Sollux sat on either side of me. I was about to explain what I knew to Sollux when I heard something fall from downstairs.

Erik hopped up and went to check it out. A minute later, Erik came back up, followed by Karkat and Eridan. I decided to search around the house to see if any of the other trolls were somehow here. I managed to find Gamzee, Tavros and Aradia in the bathroom. Vriska, Nepeta, Equius and Terezi were in Erik's room.

Feferi and Kanaya were in mom's room. So all the beta trolls are here. I brought everyone into my room to regroup with the others and sat everyone down. I explained they were from Homestuck and I had no idea why or how they were in my universe.

"SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT. WE'RE FROM A WEB COMIC WHERE PEOPLE READ ABOUT US AND KNOW OUR STORY. AND NOW WE'RE SOMEHOW STUCK IN YOUR DIMENSION AND HAVE NO CLUE HOW WE GOT HERE OR WHAT WE NEED TO DO?"

Karkat asked, trying to get all the details right. I nodded.

"Yeah, and before you say it's all bullshit or you don't want anything to do with it, just remember that won't change anything and you'll still be stuck here. I can at least try to help you, though I'm not sure how..."
