Forbidden Marriage

The Begining

Maya's House

This is the night before my wedding and I couldn't breathe. It was the night of my mehendi. One thought was in my head, "what if?" I calmed myself and tried to smile.

My mother in her quiet voice, " Girls be ready groom's side is here, Maya smile and stop biting your nails."  I glared at her as usual. Nikhil's family was quiet well off , reason the whole mehendi was getting covered by media. Another reason I was so nervous.One thing about my personality, I am very shy , I hate crowds.

I was in my maya-land ..I heard my cousin's voice. " Maya look there is Nikhil, but who is that greek god."I turned and realized..I turned to Maya , that's Sasha his best friend and you see the girl beside him. Yes , that's his fiance. She is gorgous. She is supoosed to be some famous model. Shit Nikhil's bringing him over here. Great now watch me go red and stutter.. he is super scary and he for some reason hates me. Why she said?Dont know and dont care, you know how russian guys are no manners, and I hear he is mafia. Smile he is here. "
Nikhil spoke ," babe you look gorgeous." I blushed like a tomato. Nikhil realizing  I was getting uncomfortable ," Sasha, Prisa meet Maya's cousin - Varsha."
They were polite and greeted her.  Everyone started the usual polite talk but I could feel someone's eye on me.Silly Maya imagining things as usual I thought to myself.

My mother in law with the womenfolk came.
  She said , "ceremony is starting . Sasha and Prisa you guys cam come with me . The ring ceremony was starting."

While Sasha was leaving , his phone slipped out of his hand and landed on my lap. His glare was continious. I quickly grabbed it to give it to him, he  muttered" fucking golddiger."

After they left, Nikhil was listening to our families. Varsha whispered," why was he glaring at you?"
" Who knows ,and I don't care, " I replied.

During the ring ceremony, I was looking at the surroundings, I was feeling  scared, my heart was beating crazily. My dad and Nikhil's dad announced our names.  I heard their voices but my mind was elsewhere. For some reason my eyes landed in Sasha. He seemed to be in deep conversation with someone on the phone. Suddenly   the whole hall heard, "fuck you , I want that deal. Fuck this shit, morons all of you. I am in  India , how the fuck will I be in Dubai? " Nikhil glared at him. That's when he shut up. He looked around, glaring back so? But he hung up the phone .

Nikhil's dad started speaking again. "That's Sasha best of friends so all is excusable. So back to the lovely couple , perfect for each other and I am more than happy to bring maya into our family. Trisha rings please."

   I looked at Nikhil and he went to slide the ring into my finger but it flew. There were shocks and gasps all across the room . Then it lands right beside Sasha's left foot.For once he didn't say anything, he picked up the ring. I saw him approaching me and put the ring in my hand. As he put the ring in my hand he touched my finger and I could feel a twinge of pain in my ring finger and it was bleeding. Oh , his eyes were stone cold signaling not to say a word. My whole body shook. Nikhil as usual, "thanks mate ." Then I saw Sasha leave the hall with Prisa behind him.

Nikhil saw my finger ,"What happened .Looks like  my bangles cut ?" My mom said , "Maya give your other hand . "
Everyone in the hall looked stange as this was a bad omen.  The ceremony continued and I told myself I was worrying for nothing. I would find on my wedding day , this would only be the beguning of my fate

The music had started and everyone at this time was swaying to the usual bollywood music. I needed some fresh air , so I went out to the terrace , that's where I saw Sasha. He had a gun and looks like he was threatening someone and I saw someone fall to the ground . He called one guy to take the body and he turned and saw my face.
"You... ", he barked. I was going to run. He pulles by my saree and I land pushed against a wall. He looked into my eyes, gun on my neck.
"What were you looking at? Did you see anything? No..so innocent my litlle gold digger. But we all know who you are. "
Noothing...i signed with my eyes. He said," You know Maya , I am feeling thirsty, what do you say I pull this trigger. "I won't say, " I replied back to him.
"But you will, I know gold diggers like you. " he answered back.
Prisa's voice was heard.." baby what you doing? "
Maya, I quickly ran to her.Sasha called," Maya remember our conversation."
Prisa said, "quit scaring her and you baby need to start like your new bhabi. And babe out the gun away." Sasha's voice I heard saying, "fuck off pri mind your own business."

Whole night I couldnt sleep. I knew Sasha would never leave me alone.I have heard stories what he has done to people, he would kill me I was sure

Day of the wedding

Whole day I was in panic mode.Nothing from Sasha , I knew something was coming . Suddenly I heard someone enter my rooom and door gets locked.It was Sasha.

"Maya,Maya thought you could run my angel.Think again."
I tried to run. He pulled me against my dressing table, everything around us shattering. Beside me stood a man.

" These are the papers Sasha. Sasha are you sure?" the man said.
So very, not taking his eyes off me. "Sign "he barked. "What is this " I said in a meek voice. He pulled my hair and whispered "our marriage papers , what else? "
But, I am getting marr--ied...
Sasha replied back ," no babycakes you will be my bride. You have sins to pay for. "
I said, "I am your friends fiance?
Sash pulling my hair said " Maya do not get my angry , or else " he took out his gun.
"Please Sasha , " I said. "aww the little gold digger is crying," he replied back.

Then I saw Nikhil come in . Nikhil he is trying.. I went to him.
He said, "Maya sweet Maya we are not engaged, never would be. Do you think I would marry a nobody like you. I was just the middle man. Sasha paid me big money , it was a hoax. My man , me and my family are out. I told what you said, I spread the word that I found you two in bed . They are coming . "
Sasha approached put me on the bed. Opened my saree with a tear and he was on top of me. His weight was enormous, I tried to push him off.That's how our family found us.

"Maya, what are you doing ,"my dad screamed. I was so ashamed trying to cover myself.Sasha said," revenge is sweet you took away my contract and I take your sweet daughter. Now we will see how precious dignity is. Sign the papers Maya or your dad dies."

His men pointed the gun at my dad.I will sign and that's when I signed my life away.
Saha man said ," Sir you are married, now that contract will be yours. You have to stay married to her in the same house for 3 months."
" No problem, "he said dragging me.

Everyone was in shock, media cameras were flashing.
I found myself boarding  on a plane. It had just parked right outside . It was just me and him and the his private jet crew. I didn't know how to react. He didn't say one word, but whispered," 3 months of torture. "
I shook in seat, hearing his crazy laughter. I asked stewardess where are we landing when I saw he was in one of the other rooms. "We are we going. Istanbul ,Mr Valzez's has business there ", she replies back.

"Okay. Wifey I heard you asking where we going. All you need to know you will be in hell  ."

He grazed a knife on my cheek and  suddenly I heard a twinge." "Oops clean it ", he said throwing a towel at me . Tears were rolling. "No one help her , fucking bitch and her family ruined my life", he told his staff.

My eyes woke up, I saw myself being dragged into a car. He barked some order and I was thrown into a car. The car kept going for ours until we landed at huge white mansion by a cliff. The driver said, "mam home is here. I looked as I got off , it was a palace. Door open, and I was pushed in my a lady. This is your room and she closed the door.
