"Jack?" I call out, wondering where my friend had gone. "Haylee!" I hear but as I look around, I see absolutely nobody. I was in a dark place and could only make out a few shapes. No objects were able to be made out. I felt the wind blowing on my bare arms, and then I hear the noise. Chick chick chick. A scream escaped my lips as I started to run; I ran although I knew it was pointless. He killed the rest of my friends, and Jack and I would soon be gone also.
I lost control over my body as I fell to the ground. I couldn't stand; I was too weak. I felt my breathing slowly come closer to a stop. I knew I would not make it out of this place. "This is a game..." I whispered out loud. "This is a game that I don't want to play!" I screamed. I couldn't take these mind games any longer. The murders, the blood, the screams for help; it all played over and over again in my head as I lay crying. I couldn't believe that a weekend of fun turned out to be a suvival challenge. Most of all; I couldn't believe Jack and I were the final two in the hunt. Considering the facts, I should have been the first person to go. I was alone out in the dark, and I was in the middle of the-
The forest! Now all of the lines and the orange/yellow glowing light made sense! I was still in the forest. But, how would I make it back to civilization? I have no idea how deep into the forest I was, and I had no idea how close the killer was. I heard leaves crunching and branches snapping from the distance. Then it was quiet for a few moments, and then the leave crunching and the branch snapping got louder. He was getting closer.
I scrambled into the darkness. Maybe, just maybe, if I could stay quiet then he wouldn't find me; I still had a chance for survival...
