I couldn't take Paige crying anymore on how much she missed Brooke and I couldn't keep denying how I felt about her and how much of an asshole I was to her for no reason.
She was trying to explain that day and I just cut her off and fuck things up even more like I always do.
When I found out what hotel she was staying at I felt even more terrible that she had to live here and couldn't even move back to her house.
I knew this was all my fault and also knew that I needed to make things right.
After her and I talked at the hotel and I poured my heart out to her, I also know that it wasn't going to be easy for me to win her over but I was willing to do whatever it took.
She has had some kind of a hold on me since the first time I met her and the way she could hold her own and especially, with the way she is with Paige. That alone is worth fighting for her.
It has now been a few weeks and both Brooke and I have done a little better. She still has her walls up but I am still trying in proving to her that I want to be with her.
I have been wanting to take her out and I have even tried to buy her whatever she wanted. Yet still, she hasn't caved in.
After we kissed that night in the hotel, before moving her back into the house, she mentioned later that night that she wants to take things slow cause she still hadn't forgiven me yet.
Though most men won't admit it, I will. Brooke has me whipped. I have never bent over backwards for any girl, ever, except for Brooke and I'm just lucky and glad she is giving me a chance.
I know her mind has been making her worry about Drake and if he came and found her, but I assured her that my guys would be there, if not me, to help look out for her and Paige.
So to help keep her mind off things, Angela convinced her to go back to school.
Plus, there was a carnival thing coming up that was themed 'The Greatest Showman.' Paige has been looking forward to this forever.
Tonight though was going to be the first night she let me take her on a real date.
Sure I have taken her to the movies and to dinner a few times but I really wanted to make this special for her. So I arranged for us to have dinner at a private spot in the park that I had Angela, Frank and a few of the guys help me set up for her.
Frank texted me to let me know everything was all ready for us.
So we got onto the bike and did a nice ride towards the park.
Then as soon as we arrived, I had blindfolded her and then took her hand and helped walk a little bit until we stopped right in front of the great set up that I had made for us tonight. Which I hope she likes it.
As soon as I took the blindfold off, I told her to open her eyes and when she did, a huge smile displayed across her face. She was smiling from ear to ear.
"Oh my god. This is beautiful." She says.

"Do you like it?" I asked her.
"I love it." She smiles even bigger and looks at me then hugs me.
"I'm glad. I mean I know that you still are wanting to take things slow and I know you haven't forgiven me yet but, I just really wanted you to know how much I really do want to be with you." I tell her.
"Nobody has ever done anything like this before for me." She says.
"I'm glad I'm your first." I tell her as I gently caress the side of her cheek with the back of my hand and then lean in and give her a long and passionate kiss on the lips.
I then take her hand and interlace our fingers together as we begin walking towards the fort.
We take a seat, have a nice dinner and get to know one another even more and I gotta say, she is so amazing.
Tonight is the best night of my life and will be a night I will always remember. She's not just great for Paige but for me too.
