The way to start writing a story is to start.
You can't end it if you haven't even started it. The key is to just keep going. Even if it feels like you're writing crap, something good will come out of it eventually. Some people plan out what they want to write. I am usually not one of those people, but for this, I had to scrounge through my notebooks to try and find a sliver of inspiration for a story. I had plenty of ideas, but I just didn't know how to start any of the stories. Perhaps a poem? That's when I remembered that planning stories is never how I create them. Granted, most of those stories end up being cringed at or forgotten, but still. The point is that my writing style is to just go with it and something might spark.
Maybe I can figure out how to start one of my ideas.
