[2.] Optimus Prime x Human!Fem!Reader - Star Light Star Bright

It was a beautiful night outside, and you thought you could enjoy it with someone special.

It was the weekend. You weren't busy with anything and decided to stick around the Auto-Bot base. All the kids asleep on the couch, the only Auto-Bots up were Ratchet and Optimus. It was actually quite late at night, at about 1:30. You often found it difficult to sleep, insomnia and all, but looking at the stars at night helped. In fact, you were on your way up the stairs to go look at the stars.

Approaching the giant elevator, you were stopped by the all so familiar voice of the leader, Optimus Prime.

"Y/n, might I ask where you are going?" He questioned, literally looked down upon you. You turned to him, seeing his innocent expression of curiosity.

"Oh, I'm just heading up top to go look at the stars." You said, finding it oddly hard to maintain eye contact with him.

"You do this quite often, why is that?" He again spoke, his inquiry unusual.

"W-well..." You stuttered, hesitant to tell him. "I have... Insomnia. It makes it difficult for me to sleep. That's why I'm up at such a late time." You said putting a protective hand over the other. His gazed was fixated on you, it was quite entrancing with his blue, ocean-like eyes.

"I too have this problem." He said, his eyes drifting to the side as if he was embarrassed. You were stunned at first, unsure of how Optimus could relate to you in such a way.

"I thought Cybertronians didn't need sleep?" You said, curious about his statement.

"We do not, though powering down allows us to refresh our processors and brings tranquility to us upon awakening," His bold voice spoke. "Thought, I have not yet been able to power down in quite some time." He said looking back at you.

"Hm, would you like to join me to the roof and look at the stars? They help me fall asleep most of the time." You said with a shy smile.

Optimus returned the gesture with a kind and genuine smile on his face. He stood tall and walked towards the elevator where he stood next to you. "I would be happy to accompany you." He said kindly.

Soon you two reached the top, and both took a seat around the edge of the rock cliff. The stars glowed brightly, sparkling in the midnight abyss of the sky.

"This is beautiful." Said Optimus, his eyes stuck looking at the magnificent stars. You looked up at him and smiled, leaning over a little to lean against the cool metal of his leg. Your eyes began to forcefully shut on their own, your mind wandering into a calm state.

"Yeah, it is."
