Your Pov

"Finally!" I shouted as I extended my arms around all of the coins in the middle of the game table.

"About time you won y/n/n" My eldest brother , Alex said as he placed his hands behind his head and leaned back in his chair.

"Took about four games for her to win" my other brother , Liam said as he threw his cards down on the table .

"Ah hush" I said in response to their teasing . At least I one this time . Normally they give up on me 5 games in and I end up going to bed without a single win.

"Ah I'm going to miss this" Liam said looking around my small apartment.

"Me too." I agreed and Alex nodded .

Tomorrow my brothers both are returning to the Army . We are currently in what it seems like World War 111 with South Korea. It was only a few years ago when we were once allies with them . So much has changed since then ..

"Well we better get going , we have a long flight tomorrow" Alex said as he stood from his chair and placed his hat on his head .

I stood at the same time Liam did . I gave them both strong and tight hugs . Sending them out with kisses on their cheeks and "see you soon's" .

After they left I let out a long sigh and began cleaning up the small mess we had made eating snacks and playing cards . I put everything in place and turned off all the lights , now heading up the stairs to my room.

I changed my clothes and brushed my teeth . Pulling my hair up in a bun and snuggling deep under the covers . Before I knew it I was out like a light bulb , knowing nothing about what tomorrow would hold.

After I woke up and took about 20 minutes to actually allow myself to get up out of bed . I was finally showered and dressed . Pouring my coffee and eating my toast . I took a glance at the clock and ..

"Ah shit I'm going to be late"

I quickly grabbed my keys and purse , locked my apartment door and headed off to work .

I'm a secretary at a Law firm . I don't do much , just sit at the front desk , great everyone that comes in and file papers .

The day goes by quickly , I had lunch with one of my closest friends Riley . Unlike my dark brown hair , straight blonde hair straddles her shoulders . She has bright piercing blue eyes , and she always wears a blazer and pencil skirt with expensive heels . She's a lawyer but she wasn't a stuck up lawyer like the ones you see in tv dramas . She was kind and always encouraging , but even if she wasn't stuck up . In the court room and meetings she always took her job very seriously .

As the day ended and I headed home , I climbed out of my car and headed towards my front door when I heard rustling in the bushes . I assumed it was nothing and I continued to open my door and close it when I entered my home .

I put my keys down and kicked my heels off . Once again I heard a rustling , and then a thud which seemed to have come from the side of my apartment .

"What in the hell" I looked outside my back sliding door and nothing was there . My subconscious of course was telling me there was probably a murderer waiting to pop out at me but I kept pushing that thought to the back of my mind as I continued to look out the window every few minutes just to make sure nothing was there .

I finally accepted the fact that no one was there and I turned on my heel when I heard it again. Nope , not today Satan . I stood away from my door and quickly grabbed my phone , ready to dial 911 if anything .

A hand smacked against the window and I let out a squeak. I closed my eyes quickly , holding my phone tightly to my chest . When I heard a knock at the door again I peeked and noticed a man . He laid on the concrete of my back patio . Unsure of what to do , I slowly came closer to the door .

I turned the outside light to get a better view of him . He looked deep into my eyes , and I noticed something about him very quickly .

"You're not American , are you ?"

He shook his head yes , I looked down and his hand holding his stomach and quickly realized the visible blood oozing from his wound .

Without a thought I opened the door and pulled him in .

"It's going to be okay ." He looked at me hesitantly but allowed me to help him with his wound .

After applying pressure to it , and allowing the bleed to stop . I wrapped his wound . And cleaned up the blood that was smeared on my floor .

By now he was sitting on my couch , staring at the ground .

I walked towards him slowly with the bloody cloth in my hands still . Squeezing slightly as the fear ran over me again .

"How did you get here all the way here ?" I ask .

I stand patiently waiting for an answer but nothing .

"What's your name ?"

Again , no response and I begin to think I should just call the cops and let them deal with him . But then again who knows what they'll do to him. I look closely at the material that clings to his body and I realize he's wearing a Korean Military Uniform . Afraid , I step back and continue my useless interrogation although he shows no interest in responding .

"Are you going to hurt me?" Dumb question y/n , Dumb question . I mentally smack myself and look at the floor . When I bring my face back up , my eyes lock with his .

He's wearing a black mask , covering everything but his eyes . They pierce into mine and I can't help but look away .

"Look I've helped you and I'm not even sure if I should have . I could get into huge trouble for even letting you in my home . It's against the law . You don't have to talk to me but you could at least say fucking thank you and then leave " I finish and turn around throwing the cloth on down and then gripping onto the table , my fear is now replaced with anger .

"Look.."

"Taehyung"

I freeze and slowly turn around, unsure if I just heard that deep voice from behind me .

I look at him with wide eyes and he sighs .

"My name is Taehyung"
