“H-hi, uh I wanted to… uh ask a question to the… people that live here” I stuttered out. “Ask the question” he replied.

“You live here?” I asked surprised. “Not that it is bad or anything” I added quickly hoping he wouldn’t hear my sarcasm.

He looked up at me and nodded slightly, I put a fake wide smile putting my thumbs up. “Yes and no,” he answered properly after a while.

“What kind of answer is that?” I asked a little annoyed. I mean I was dehydrated and ravenous from walking 4 hours with a meter high and a meter broad suitcase and this dude wasn’t answering my question properly, how nice (note sarcasm). “An answer to your question” he replied smartly. “Smartass” I muttered softly so he couldn’t here it, if I was going to ask for something I had to be a little nice no matter if he was cocky or a jerk. “So what do you want?” he asked. “I was wondering if I could use some water and eat some food and maybe even crash here for a couple of days” I replied hopingly. He nodded after a while “sure, but…” he said. “There always has to be a but” I said.

“But… you have to pay me 100 bucks” he smirked. “Ok, deal but it includes you taking me to Ohio” I replied. “Make it 125 bucks then” He said slowly thinking about it and then sticking out his hand “deal” I answered shaking his hand lightly. He opened the door and went in I was just about to follow when the door banged right in my face.

JERK, what kind of idiot bangs the door in a girls face and I’m literally paying to stay here 120 freaking bucks. I know a hotel would cost more but 1. They have better serve

    2. They’re polite and kind

It’s not like I had a choice there are seriously no hotels here, it’s like the desert where there’s nothing but sand, but here there’s nothing but tropical things.

“OPEN THE DOOR!” I shouted banging my hands against the door trying to make the dude open the door. Now that I actually think about it I don’t know his name I’ll ask when opens the door, if he EVER will.

Finally after banging my hands on to the door for an hour he opened it for me. Ok, maybe I’m over exaggerating it was a minute later he opened the door, but it felt like an hour. The second I stepped in the house I felt blessed, it was so beautiful there was little corridor where you hung your coats and put your shoes. Then on the right side there was really cute tiny toilet with black and white tiles. The kitchen was huge it had a stove, microwave, a tap and it had this awesome high chairs and high long table to make it look bar-ish in a cool way, the wall color was a gorgeous coral light blue I felt like I was in heaven. The living room was also pretty cool it had plasma T.V and a purple sofa with green walls and a tea table.

Upstairs was 3 bedrooms one had purple walls a white bed with purple colored sheets and pillows it had little side table and a study table and a multi-colored Fatboy and a closet. The second room had midnight blue walls a white bed with baby blue sheets and pillow a study table with an apple laptop and a stool this room also had a closet. The third room had shelves filled with books a bed a mini sofa and a closet.

After having a tour through the house “What’s your name?” I asked him.

“Ethan, what’s yours?” he replied. “Aria, can I sleep in the room with the purple walls opposite to the bathroom?” I asked energized.

“Sure, my room is the one next to yours with the midnight blue walls” he answered.
