Rin's P.O.V
About 10 or so years ago, I was separated by my childhood friend, Kinni. I went into a deep state of depression after everything I went through....Kinni moved houses, I lost my parents and my sister was taken away from me....I was practically driven to insanity.

Every night after what had happened, I'd think that if I woke up, it'd all be a dream. I'd see my sister running up to me, telling me that I'm such a heavy sleeper. I'd be greeted by my parents and I'd be outside playing with Kinni in the yard or the roof...

But when I wake up, I know it never happened. I started losing hope. Hope that I'd ever see Kinni again. Even if it was just for a minute.

~a while later~
After an incident with an android that suddenly comes looking for me, I bump into a girl who kinda pushed me. She had a hood over her head so it was hard to make out her features. But I knew she was female. Her brown bangs hang over her eyes, yet I can feel her cold stare.

Before I could say anything else, she turned around and started walking away. I called out to her, but she didn't answer, she just kept walking without a word with her hands in her pockets. I look down to notice a wallet lying in the ground. Probably belongs to her. I picked it up and went after her. She didn't seem to notice.

We went down numerous alleyways, turns and a few gateways. By the time I caught up to her, we were out in the field of a grassland. I saw her lying on the ground, staring up at the sky with her hood down. I looked down at the wallet then walk over to her.

Kinni's P.O.V
"...let's hope he's here..." I mumble to myself. The other day, I came to this kingdom to look for one person.
My childhood friend Rin. I wasn't able to go looking for him yesterday since it was pretty late...and dark. And I hardly got a lot of sleep last night since, of course, I'm afraid of the dark. Especially when I'm alone...

~a while later~
I've been watching a man fight some person. I was at a far distance so I couldn't make out what they were talking about. (Despite being part fox...) Eventually he won the battle and the villagers praised him.

Then suddenly the unexpected happened...
A growl was heard in my stomach and I sigh. "Hungry already?" I thought to myself. I grab my wallet out and walked out of where I hid and went to find a place where I could eat. Unluckily for little me, I was walking over to the guy while I stared at the ground with my hands in my pockets.

I bump into someone and look up to see him. I showed pretty much no emotion as I pushed him a bit. Then I noticed that I was going the wrong way. Honestly, I didn't know much about this place. He looked like he was about to say something so I turned and walked the other way.

I heard him call out to me but I said nothing. I'm not use to being around strangers and I dug my hands in my pockets and fled.

I took a few turns down alleyways and gateways and ended up at a grassland.

"Oh...just perfect." I thought to myself. I let out a sigh, lowered my hood so its off my head and lay down on the grass, looking up at the sky.

I felt like I was going to drift off to sleep until a voice called.

"Uhh...miss?" Said the male. I sat up and looked to see the same guy I bumped in to earlier.

"You dropped your wallet..." He continued a bit nervous and handed the bag of leather fabric to me. I took it and stared at him. He looked...
Kinda familiar...
Like I've seen him before. In the past. No. I must be mistaken. He can't be who I think he is.
