Not So Indecisive

I can't sleep.

I told you something important, I'm not regretting it, but unfortunately
My mind can't stop wondering what's it like to actually be able to hold you for more than just a second.
I can't stop chasing the thought that
— one day I want to rearrange the dishes until you reassure they're fine because I'm so indecisive when I come across little things
To run my fingers through your soft hair for hours with your head in my lap because the silence is peaceful too
To watch you hold our first child, and then cry tears of joy.
— I don't think you understand this when I say that when I want to spend my life with you,
I'm not trying to force myself down your throat.
You're the best person I know.
You make my heart sing and dance.

I just thought I'd let you know that, we could be 70, and I still wouldn't mind to spend my life with you.
