pt. 1 - h.l + y.m

"hey how much does this apartment cost per month?" he looks at the landlord, eyes as if pleading to get a discount, he's in short of money, sighs. the landlord scratch his head and nods.

"i'll give this apartment to you for 106,287 yen deposit and monthly charge of 50k yen. only with one condition."

yaku sighs and nods afterwards, "i was about to say thank you landlord but what is it?"

"the apartment has two rooms, its either you get a roommate or the room remains untouched." the landlord announce with a wicked, playful smile that make yaku shook. he blinks his eyes repeatedly.

i guess that's what you get for renting a cheap apartment. they went inside the landlord's office, sign a few papers, yaku paid the deposit using the money his late grandfather gave him and he gets the key to his first house.

well, as he step in, the first thing he check is the bedroom, there were two and its decently big for actually 4 people. the living room is big but the kitchen is relatively small.

he opens the balcony door and since its the highest floor, at 13th floor, he gets to enjoy the view of the town.

he took a breathe of the pristine air and smiles. "this is nice."

suddenly, what the landlord said plays in his mind once again, 'get a roommate or the other room remains untouched.'

he went in this roommate web on his laptop. he scrolls through and search for people in hunt of a roommate just around his location. he stumbled upon an account just ten blocks away from where he is, reluctantly he sent a text to the account that states the request. 

'hey uhh i saw that you were looking for a roommate.' he clicks sent and goes on to stalk that account then read its bio.

it state and he quote,

'HELLOW nakamas out there!! ≧∇≦ i'm haiba lev~, 16 and done with lifeu!! in search of a roommate around this xxx location;-O!! why you should take me in is that we can pay rent half and half XD!! please call this number 2834327335 asap. ^_^(~_^)°°'

yaku cringed a little while reading it. "the amount of emoticons he used. haiba lev? a foreigner? i'll just call him now then."
