Reikka jumped up, as Sting mutely laughed and the black-haired man stood high. Her eyes grew wider as she saw the man, and she felt herself stiffen beside Sting and...
"Rogue?" Reikka blurted out. Confused at the girl in front, Rogue cocked his head to the side and asked: Who are you?
Reikka had hid a dead end. She suddenly zoned out, shutting out Rogue, shutting out Sting, shutting out everything. Just breathe, this was bound to happen, you should've seen it, you are prepared to answer, Reikka thought.
"I-I'm R-Reikka..." she murmmered, as no one heard her.
"Who?" Rogue questioned.
"It's Reikka." Sting said, causing Rogue to go wide eyed as well twinning with Reikka, "Yea, the Reikka we knew ages ago, the one we loved, the one who--"
Rogue forgot his words as he scooped Reikka into a long hug, her pale face buried against his chest. She let out a short chuckle, then returned the embrace. Despite being so confused, she tried to smile of how he accepted the fact so quickly.
Reikka's POV
We pulled away and I got called by Natsu to go.
"Reikka, you need to get ready, come on!" Natsu called again ever so annoyingly. I waved goodbye and ran out the door with Natsu.
He stopped mid-way and stroked his chin weirdly. I raised an eyebrow and tapped him on the shoulder.
"What are you doing?" I asked. Natsu looked at me and sighed.
"What should I buy Luce for Christmas?" He asked me, expecting a normal answer like a teddy bear or something.
I shrugged and walked on, ready to stop him mid-way to tell him to buy a ring for Lucy. And not just any ring...
