I am still deeply in love with Shrey.
The words kept ringing in her mind repeatedly. But she still couldn't believe it. Her heart was thumping loud as she tried to accept each word she had heard. Yet Pihu felt like she was hallucinating.
"She can't be. . ." whispering to herself, she kept roaming from here and there.
When Sakshi was in front of her, Pihu didn't want to ask her questions. Not that Sakshi had left anything to get asked. She had explained briefly how her heart still called out for Shrey.
Pihu closed her eyes, shaking her head. It was stressing her hard how the unexpected happened. Here the whole family was keen on taking decision for her but already, her heart had decided something different.
"All these years, I tried to fight my love. But he is everywhere. In my dreams. In my wishes. In the vision I create for my future. I am not able to get over him and I don't want to."
Remembering her words spoken with each sob, tears filled Pihu's eyes. How cruel Sakshi's heart could be? How stubborn she herself was?
It had been more than three years. That tragedy happened when she was a little girl. Pihu put finger on her lips, trying to comprehend how could her first love be so strong for Shrey. So true for him.
They all were trying to ask her wish, to settle her up with Kabir or any other person of her choice. But now, Pihu understood very well. Why she never heard it from Sakshi in these three years ever? Why she never had a boyfriend?
I feel like I haven't met the perfect one for me yet, Bhabhi.
Pihu sighed heavily, calming herself. It was her helplessness that she couldn't stop Sakshi. But she had to be as close to her as she could. What if she was just stubborn or was stalking Shrey all these years? What if she was in contact with him any how?
Pihu gasped remembering about his case. What if it was true?
"Oh, God."
Immediately, two arms snaked around her waist. On her shoulder, rested a chin while a nose was pushing into the crook of her neck. Pihu swallowed while clutching her husband's hands.
"How did it go?" She asked softly.
Raghav gave her a light kiss on neck. "Smooth. I told the Bhatia's to slow it down. There was no need to call Kabir's parents all the way from Kerala or anything. Right now, our girl is not even aware of Kabir's traits or there is no bonding."
"Let my sister imagine, how she would be living with a sincere man like Kabir. She will herself come up to accept this offer," he smiled. "Mom is happy too. But I know that she really can't wait for it to happen."
I don't even think it would happen, Pihu thought sadly. She breathed in his arms and felt him grunting slowly.
"Where's my descendant? My Prince?" Raghav looked around and twitched his lips at seeing Riaan sleeping peacefully in the crib.
"He missed you. After eating, it took me time to talk sweet things like you and make him sleep. He kept asking about you," Pihu said while turning around and crossing arms across her chest.
Raghav smiled sadly. "My baby." He removed his shirt slowly, smirking when Pihu came forward to open his buttons herself. "You know, it's all because of Sakshi's maternal family. They are hell bent on getting her married. I mean I know they love her but sometimes, I think they just want to fill their distant relatives or friend's son by getting her married."
Pihu lowered her eyes and removed his shirt slowly. "I know. But mom can just deny them. Here, she has her own son-in-law interest."
Raghav chuckled while reaching her, holding her waist. "I have put a comma on this Sakshi-Kabir thing. Mom won't talk about it anymore. But what happened to you? Why your face is swollen?"
