SUBJECT: Assignment and Temporary Leave

Dear Mr. Walters,

Hello, it's Audrey, as the email says. I completed my assignment which will be posted on my blog sometime in the next few hours. I will attach the photos below, where you can view them after my email.

I'm not sure how long I will be gone, but it's a rough time right now. My younger sister, Marielle, has acute myeloid leukemia and is currently receiving chemotherapy. According to my parents, the chemotherapy had been scheduled to begin on March 4, 2018 since the start of February, but my sister hadn't wanted me to know. She'll also be receiving a bone marrow treatment right after the chemotherapy.

As you may have gathered, Marielle and I are quite close and I'm staying in Florida with her and my family for awhile. I want to be with her and support her in one of the hardest times of her life. I'm sorry for the suddenness of my temporary resignation, but then again the news of my sister's diagnosis was sudden to me as well.

I will not be responding to emails, and I'm only responding to texts from close friends and family. Thank you for understanding and I will let you know a couple of weeks before I plan on coming back to work. As said before, below are the photos taken for my photography assignment.
