Dinah's POV
Due to the bright sun glaring on my face, I found myself not being able to sleep anymore. I open my eyes expecting to see Y/N laying beside me but I'm met with an empty bed. I quickly sit up in a panic thinking that she had left.

'Was it because I almost said I love you? Damn it Dinah, why couldn't you keep your mouth shut' I mentally start to yell at myself.

"Good morning stranger" I hear. My head immediately snaps to the direction of the voice and a wave of relief falls over my body.

"Stranger? That's my thing" I say with a raised eyebrow.

"I know but it's fun to say" Y/N says as she climbs back into the bed.

"Where were you?" I ask.

"I was.... just grabbing a cup of water. Why did you miss me?" She says with a smirk.

"Oh please. Don't flatter yourself" I say.

"Okay okay play coy with me. I know for a fact you'd miss me if I ever left" she says while rubbing my arm up and down with her fingertips.

"Well hopefully we'll never have to find out" I say looking into her eyes, scared of the fact that she could one day leave me.

She leans in and softly kisses my lips before giving me a soft smile. Our moment is rudely interrupted by vibrating.

"Ugh, Y/N turn off your phone!" I groan while playfully punching her arm.

"It's not my phone. That bitch is always on silent. It's yours Dinah" she says while pointing at my phone.

I reach over to the side table and grab my phone. The name across my phone screen instantly makes my body freeze.

Dinah: hello?

Quincy: babe? Where are you?

Dinah: I'm with Ally

Quincy: Great! Mind if I swing by to pick you up? I'm horny and I need my daily dose of caramel after the day I had today

Dinah: Yea. Yea. Sure. We're actually in the middle of something but I think I'll be ready in about an hour.

Quincy: Alright, see you then babe.

Dinah: See you then, bye.

I hung up the phone and immediately started to frantically pick up my clothes that were thrown all over the room.

"Woah! Woah! What's the rush?!" Y/N says.

"It was Quincy. He wants to meet up and I told him I was at Ally's. He's going to head over there in about an hour to pick me up and I'm not even there!" I scream while looking for my underwear.

"Well first off, no shit you're not there genius. Second, your underwear's over there and last but not least, why can't you just leave that idiot" Y/N says while getting out of the bed.

"He's not an idiot. He's actually a really nice guy and I can't bring myself to end things" I say.

"Oh okay, so instead of telling him the truth and ending things with him, you want to spare his feelings and just continue to cheat on him with me? What do you think that'll do to his feelings when he finds out?" She asks.

"I haven't actually thought about that"

"What do you even like about him?" She asks me.

"I don't know, there's just something about him. He checks off everything on my perfect boyfriend list. And bonus my dad loves him"
