Rose p.o.v.

I sat in the back of the truck with Mack, Doc, 10k and Addy. Cassandra, Murphy and Garnett in the car, with Warren driving. We passed by two Z's snacking on a woman. I looked away. "Is that what I think it is?" Warren asked from inside the car. "No way." Garnett said and got out the car. "Is that really the Liberty Bell?" 10k asked as we looked at the large bell tied down to another truck. "Proclaim liberty throughout all the land and unto all the inhabitants thereof." Garnett said, as he walked over.

I copied Doc and got out the back of the truck to go see. "Yeah, thats it." Garnett said to 10k. "Three years of zombie apocalypse, you think you've seen everything." Doc said. "Well when everything went bad, they probably tried to save a little history." Warren said as she walked over. "Yeah well they should've known, the only thing you can save is yourself." Murphy told her. I rolled my eyes. Again. "Lets go!" He begged.

"Hang on." Warren said as she messed around with a tube attached to the other car. "If this thing still has fuel, and it does...if we get this thing started, they wont have to ride out in the open like that." Warren told Garnett. I shrugged. "Good idea." I told her. "Well I'm all for that." Doc agreed. "I'll get the jumper cable." Mack said and jumped off our truck. "God bless the human race. 99% of them dead. But there's still one jackass alive with a spray can." Doc said, I let out a small laugh, and took out my small knife from my ankle as Warren went to open the drivers door. As she opened it a Z lunged towards her.

As I threw the small knife, I watched as 10k used his slingshot to shoot a screw. The knife and bolt pierced the Z's head at the same time. "You two gotta stop doing that." Doc said as me and 10k exchanged looks. "One thousand seventy-five." 10k said. Warren retrieved my knife and handed it back to me. I put it back into the holster on my ankle. "Thank you." She motioned to us both. I nodded. Once the jumper cables were attached to each vehicle, Warren tried the ignition. And it started up. "Alright, that's it. Let's go, Murphy." Garnett said.

Warren stayed driving the new car, with Murphy in the back with Addy. Garnett took the passenger seat. Doc drove our car. 10k sat in the front and I sat in between Mack and Cassandra. We followed after them. "We're not really going all the way to California with this Murphy guy, are we?" Cassandra leant forward and asked Doc. "That's the plan." Doc said. "That's crazy." Cassandra responded. "It is the apocalypse.." I said. "What's so special about him anyways?" She asked Doc. I was intrigued too. "His blood." Doc causally shrugged.

Suddenly Warrens car went swerving out the way, around a corner and then skidded to a stop. As our car turned around the corner we watched on as the Liberty Bell went flying out of the straps and along the pavement. It kept bouncing further and further away, knocking out zombies in its way. I began laughing. "Yeah! I'd pay money to see that again." Doc laughed too. Warren got out and said something was broken, so everyone was back into our truck. I got out and sat back in the outside back area. Much better.

We sat eating the last food from my bag. Which was twinkies. Everyone got one but that was it. I slowly took a few bites as I sat next to Cassandra. She for some reason put hers in her bag. I watched as Murphy licked the wrapper of his one. 10k took small bites, as Murphy turned to him. Murphy reached out for 10ks Twinkie. "You going to eat all that?" He questioned, resulting in 10k putting the whole thing into his mouth and eating it. I stifled a laugh and finished my one. "Selfish little bastard." Murphy said to him.

"We need to split up and look for food and water." Garnett said to us. "Oh, if we can find a two way radio or urm..even like a satellite dish, I can try and contact that Citizen Z guy." Addy told us. "That's good! Okay, you and Mack do that." Garnett said to Addy. "The rest of us look for food. "Doc, you take Rose, Cassandra and 10k. Stay in each other's eye sight but split up to cover more ground. Warren and I will take Murphy. Stay close." Garnett said to us. Then me and the three others went on a rummage.
