Our driver didn't need directions he knows exactly where I live, which I'm not sure if I should be at all concerned that someone I don't know, knows where I live or not.
After everything that happened today, that explosion, and now this, I don't know what I am going to do.
Our driver pulled the car over Raphe got out, giving me a hand.
Looking around, even though I've only been gone a short while, this place looks so different. But then again it might just be me, that's different, and now nothing will ever be the same ever again.
But I'm not sure what my neighbours will think about me getting out of a limo with two good looking guys, and in the clothes we're in, and Raphe covered in soot, and looking dishevelled.
"We need to get the two of you inside before my neighbours see you."
Since I don't have my keys, I grabbed my spare, unlocking the front door. But Alex stopped me; before I took a step.
"I'm doing a sweep before you go in." Sighing, I stepped aside, so he can move past, gun in hand.
Looking around, there's no one on the streets, but it feels like there's someone watching us from behind there curtains.
Alex came out saying that it's safe to go in, he saw that I still have the gun and took it from me, and moved aside so we can go in.
Closing the door, I pointed to the bathroom.
"You two need to clean up; I'll start packing." Leaning against the wall, I took off my heels and went into my room, while they went to clean up.
Stepping into my room, I grabbed what bags I have left and started packing, wondering what the hell happened out there. Who the hell attacked us, and most of all what talked to me in my head, while I tried to call my fire? I thought about changing, but decided not to, and packed the last of my clothes. Stepping out of my room, with some of my bags and set them at the door, going around grabbing some things I need. Like my laptop, and things like that, along with some of my favorite books and my favorite blanket; going back to my room, stuffing it all in my bag.
"You ready to go?"
Turning around, Alex is leaning against the door, arms folded across his chest. "Yeah, I think so. Is Raphe good?" "Yes I am." He said coming up behind Alex, looking cleaner than he did before. "If you put my stuff in the car, I won't be a moment." They nodded, grabbed my bags, leaving me alone for a moment.
Walking around, this is my home; I don't want to leave it, but I know I have to, it's the only way to keep everyone safe, including myself. Picking up my last bag, I grabbed little hand badge, and walked out locking the door behind me, meeting Alex half way to the car, takin my bag from me.
"You alright?" I nodded, taking his hand, taking one last look at my home. "Don't worry, we will have your car brought to the house; just to be on the safe side. Now in the car, we have to get back to the house."
Stepping in; Alex came in next to me, and Raphe sat in his usual seat and told the driver we're ready to leave, and pulled away from the curb.
Driving through the city, we passed fire trucks, police cars; heading to the hotel; but of course we're staying clear of the place. After a short while we pulled into the driveway; the gate opening for us, and closing after we drove through.
"So there are numerous demons that live around here, correct?" Raphe nodded, as we climbed out of the car. "So what is there to stop the rouge vamps from coming here, and trying to take over?" "That won't happen. We are protected here. No unwanted visitor is allowed in. We are safe; you are safe." We grabbed my bags, from the trunk, then it hit me.
