We run past white picket fences
Knowing that they constrict us
Like the steel bars in our near future
We're outlaws
We can't hide behind painted wood
And a perfect smile
So we run
We run because it's what we know best
We run because the red and blue lights
Are shining off the walls we pass
We run because the adrenaline in our veins
Is better than any drug
Danger is our heroine
And there isn't a rehab out there
That can "fix us"
So we continue to run past the
White picket fences
Addicted to the pounding
Of our footsteps
That make an orphic harmony
In the echoing streets
